February 28, 20251 yr Do any of the Back Square aircraft feature a fast startup eg press CTRL E to automatically start the engine(s) or have a 'mode' such as the PMDG 737 via the 'tablet' where you can set the startup 'type' such as cold and dark, ready to taxi etc etc Regards John Gigabyte Z390 m/b, i7 9700K cpu, 16Gb Hyper X Fury 3200 ram, RTX2060 6Gb, Gigabyte 32" monitor, MSFS 2020 store edition

March 1, 20251 yr Author Thanks Bert, I was aware that however it takes some time to program the flight plan and if I 'fly' with 'others' I would hold them up sitting on the runway for many minutes. Everyone has their own routine.. I tend to spawn on the runway and taxi off to do my cockpit prep.. Others would rather start at a parking spot.. I have not started BSQ planes from cold and dark, so cannot offer advice.. Edited March 1, 20251 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
March 1, 20251 yr Cold and dark is the most fun for any plane, for my experience. Black Square is amazing. I am fairly certain Control E works in a pinch 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
March 1, 20251 yr Author I had never considered spawning on a runway and then taxiing off to set up. Thanks. Regards John Gigabyte Z390 m/b, i7 9700K cpu, 16Gb Hyper X Fury 3200 ram, RTX2060 6Gb, Gigabyte 32" monitor, MSFS 2020 store edition
March 1, 20251 yr Nobody should be spawning on the active, unless they are Xbox users. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer
March 1, 20251 yr Author I agree. I still can't find out if the Black Sqaure aircraft allow (pressing) CTRL E will start the engines and place the aircraft ready for takeoff OR if the tablet(EFB) allows the users to select a startup state. I have watched heaps of Youtube videos and none pointed this out (and they usually for do if startup states can be set via the EFB). Just tried CTRL+E on the Black Square Bonanza and no, it doesn't work. You still have to turn on some switches manually, like the alternator and ignition. And it doesn't have a tablet.
