Black Square aircraft - fast startup?

Featured Replies

Do any of the Back Square aircraft feature a fast startup  eg  press CTRL E to automatically start the engine(s) or have a 'mode' such as the PMDG 737 via the 'tablet' where you can set the startup 'type' such as  cold and dark, ready to taxi  etc etc

Just start on the Runway, and you will have the engines running.

Thanks Bert,   I was aware that however it takes some time to program the flight plan and if I 'fly' with 'others' I would hold them up sitting on the runway for many minutes.

Everyone has their own routine..  I tend to spawn on the runway and taxi off to do my cockpit prep..  Others would rather start at a parking spot..  I have not started BSQ planes from cold and dark, so cannot offer advice..

Cold and dark is the most fun for any plane, for my experience.

Black Square is amazing. I am fairly certain Control E works in a pinch

I had never considered spawning on a runway and then taxiing off to set up. Thanks.

I agree.    I still can't find out if the Black Sqaure aircraft allow (pressing) CTRL E will start the engines and place the aircraft ready for takeoff OR if the tablet(EFB) allows the users to select a startup state. I have watched heaps of Youtube videos and none pointed this out (and they usually for do if startup states can be set via the EFB).

Just tried CTRL+E on the Black Square Bonanza and no, it doesn't work. You still have to turn on some switches manually, like the alternator and ignition. And it doesn't have a tablet.
