March 9, 20251 yr Hi, Freestyle Filters in NVIDIA stopped working for me lately (MS2024 crashes) My rig: AMD x870E, AMD Ryzen 9800X3D, RTX 5070ti. For now, I've managed to set HDR ON (both in Windows and in game) and compensate contrast, color and gamma with NCP with acceptable results (but still having sky and clouds overexposed). I think there are no alternatives (except Reshade, which I don't like it at all) Greetings Edited March 9, 20251 yr by John Fields
March 13, 20251 yr I just tried this - not with the nvidia app (as it messes up nvidia profile inspector which I need to enable DLSS4) - but using NvTrueHDR. It looks allright - but I haven't done a side-by-side comparison with "native" HDR. Unfortunately, I cannot use it when making videos. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
March 13, 20251 yr I recently got an HDR capable monitor and just wanted to mention because I saw a couple of comments about screenshots washed out that I found with the Steam version of the sims if I use F12 from Steam's overlay to take a screenshot it apparently converts it to SDR. So you can fly in HDR and not have gray washed out screenshots if you're on the Steam version of the sims. You need this calibration tool so MSFS only pushes out the brightness your monitor can display.
