Thanks...that did it.  I don't use frame generation so that's no problem.

I Wonder, i did the steps describes but when pressing Alt-Z i can’t See any Option to tune graphic nor the RTX HDR Setting ? I am on a 4090RTX

That's interesting. I actually noticed the opposite and had quite a big increase in FPS. However, I can't attribute that to HDR as I also updated my Nvidia driver and went back to BATC EA rather than Experimental at the same time...

It's ALT+F3, not ALT+Z.

I though RTX HDR is not true HDR, but sort of like a HDR-like feature if «native» HDR is not available

I believe it works a bit like auto-HDR in upscaling SDR - but it works really well. I only tried it on one flight so far but thought it looked much, much better than native HDR in MSFS (which isn't implemented particularly well if we're honest). Quite a few opinions online and people often prefer it over native in other games too.

During my first flight, the colours looked much more life like than with native HDR, the contrast was better, the image didn't look as washed out as it normally does and I didn't notice the awful auto-adjust brightness I normally have.

No harm in trying it out - easy to revert back if you don't like it.

I tried it but the clouds become white blobs and lose all definition. The terrain looked awesome though. I may try calibrating HDR again with the Windows HDR calibration app to see if it gets better.

2/ Should I enable HDR on my Alienware AW2723DF too ?  I have it turned off for now.  Which mode in SMART HDR on Alienware monitor ?   Desktop  or Movie HDR or Game HDR or the Display HDR 600 ?

1) No idea, I suspect so.

2) Yes, HDR only works if you enable it in the monitor too. I have an AW3423DWF and the best mode is "HDR Peak 1000". Do you have that one?

It is. And if you have an HDR monitor with 600nits or more, just calibrate it properly and you’re good to go.

Absolutely. I tend to dabble in making YT videos - making a complete word not allowed of myself - but since uploading 4K HDR videos takes pretty much forever - I might try RTX HDR. In that case I need to install GeForce Experience (if it even exists) or the Nvidia App - since I have neither of those.

Good luck! I think you might need the Nvidia App for it.

Just tried it and actually like it better.

3080ti with TAA slight fps hit externally. 1 to 2 fps

But in cockpit its stable.
