Does anyone know if there are any sites hosting the Terra Emergence Project  ground textures for FSX. Google Drive states files don't exist .

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks for the reply. I assume, quite possibly incorrectly, that althougth it states P3D compatibilty that it is likely to also be FSX compatible.

Downloads for TEP are now available. The link is at

search the above on facebook for the link The total project is very large so Aime  has set it for several smaller downloads. There is also a link for PayPal donations as a thank you for his work, but not mandatory

You'll find all the download links in the attached PDF. PDF with all links

You'll find version 3.1 in different versions: 1K, 2K, and 4K, plus links for version 3.0 8K, along with its update to version 3.1 8K.

So I gave the links a try...

Initially the option to create a download link was only opening advertising websites and I never actually was given a download link.

However after restarting my browser (FireFox) the download links began being provided, although the downloads themselves are fairly unreliable in that they stall quite a bit.

The above said they are on their way down atm and I've opted for your fav version.

Concerning this v3.1

Note: Installation requires an additional step: a BAT file to be launched after extraction. This operation is intended to copy textures that do not have seasonal variations, and are therefore identical to those for summer. This procedure reduces the size of the downloaded zip files by half.

Due to the host's limitations, zip files are split into 3GB groups. Do not attempt to extract a zip file before downloading all other parts.

For the v3 8K - run the bat - download the upgrade v3.1 8K - run the new bat.

 

I noticed that the default Windows zip extractor doesn't work with multipart zip files. Use third-party software to extract your files, such as 7zip or Bandizip.
Also, there's no need to extract the .z01, .z02, etc. parts. Just the zip itself. The extractor automatically links the separate parts. So, you must download all the linked parts of the zip before extracting the files.
