Ini A350 with a real A350 pilot?

Featured Replies

I've seen a lot of videos with real Airbus pilots, and even though it's soo similar to ie the A320, I haven't seen any videos where a real world A350 is flying it and comparing it to the real deal, and what their opinion is about it. Have you seen any YT videos, and maybe have a link, please?

Jorn, iirc the inibuild preview on YT had a 350 captain on the stream with them

Jorn, si no recuerdo mal, la vista previa de inibuild en YT tenía un capitán 350 en la transmisión con ellos.

Surely that pilot was very impartial😉

Well he's one of the reasons it's a well made aircraft so...

I just wondered why there's not a real A350 pilot that have tried it and can tell how it compares to the real one, both in systems, handling etc. Although there's a lot of real A320 pilots who knows the airbusses, it's always more exciting to hear from someone who uses it on a daily basis.

My guess is that the A350 is a relatively a new aircraft with around 650 built (From Wikipedia) , compared to thousands of A32X aircraft. So the chances one of those pilots being an avid MSFS user, and involved in Socal media like AVSIM, Youtube, etc.   would be much lower.

From the information already available I don't think it's necessary, it doesn't look like a bad product but you know it's not at the level of FSLabs or Fenix in terms of simulation depth.

My understanding is the type rating is for A330/A350. So, a A330 pilot would need difference training before flying a A350 and visa versa.

So, an A330 pilot could give a reasonable impression of how good the iniBuilds version of the A350 might be. But, the differences are pretty large, I'd think.

I'm thinking about Emanuel here. He's done a number of videos on the A350.

That's right. It's a total of 16 hours split into 4 4-hour sessions.
