FS2024 Crashes at the start of every flight now

Featured Replies

Prior to SU1 I would get a CTD maybe 1 out of 30 flights. Now, post SU1 it crashes at the start of every flight. Even before I hit ready to fly. I even did a fresh install and have an empty community folder. Any thoughts?

Hmm interesting. Anything else changed? Drivers maybe?

Maybe the old rollling cache still got left behind and is being reused?

Other possibility that comes to mind is that you have some marketplace item that has been activated, is downloading, and then crashes.

does the crash happen at all airports and with all planes, or is there a specific set?

If you haven't tried this... I would...

I just delete the file directly from explorer. It recreates it as needed.

Just got my computer back after a month!

It started crashing after a new graphics card was fitted -2020 to 4070

The problem turned out to be a dud stick of RAM

Not sure how the technician diagnosed this fault-way beyond my pay grade

Just a thought
