Presently in one of the most STUNNING flights with FSX!

Recommended Posts

While waiting for Tongass and Misty for FSX from Holger and Bill, I to have been enjoying the Bella Coola area (thanks for the reminder Mitch!).Was thinking of doing some small sceneries in the area and ran across this site with great aerials of the Bella Coola Valley, shows how great Holger is at what he does (and that we need more trees, LOL)http://www.drumbeats06.com/Bella%20Coola.htmRegards, MichaelKDFW

Scott....Funny that you mention Castlegar! I came back to Banff...and then visited Castlegar. You have to drop like a bucket of lead...LOL. Most fun...and did it in the Mooney Bravo. You could spend weeks in this area of FSX and not be bored...Mitch

Sorry to bump an old thread, but...WOW.I've been flying the heck out of the F1 Mustang since its release, but lately been hankering for some low and slow. I somehow found this thread in a search and had a look.I took my Aerosoft Beaver and left from Castlegar and followed the valley at 3500ft to Nelson and then came out into Kootenay Lake. Discovered a little grass strip on the eastern shore of the lake called Crawford Bay (CAR2) and set down. Awesome.I think the combination of UT, FSG Mesh, and GE are working well here no doubt.Anyway, I do live in Canada in the Maritimes (New Brunswick), but this is the first time I've really explored out west in a slow aircraft. I forget sometimes what we are lucky enough to have here.I'll be spending my next flights having a further look. Thanks for the inspiration, guys!Shane.

I was on vacation so maybe I missed the official announcement, but I installed Tongrass 2 days ago and I have to say that it has ruined my FSX, since I now know what the rest of the world COULD look like!If you don't have the Tongass scenery pack, RUN, don't walk, and get it, it is the most amazing scenery I have seen in FSX yet!Holger and crew, if you are reading this, you have set the bar very high for the rest!http://fsaddon.eu/wpfsaddon/fsaddon-products/
