March 29, 20251 yr I am on the Steam PC version, Standard. When selecting an item to buy on the marketplace I get a spinner animation that seems to never stop. I have to kill the sim in the task manager to exit. When I enter the marketplace thereafter I get an error message popup: Error. Purchase failed. Something went wrong try again later. I logged out and in of the Xbox application and the Microsoft store application. I have a valid payment method loaded. I could start the sim whilst being logged out of the Xbox application. This happens when developer mode is active or inactive. The pc was restarted. Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot this? How do I log out of my account in the sim?
April 2, 20251 yr Wish I could help you. I am having issues making any purchase, myself and unable to find any sort of resolution. Seems like, many times, there is little help out here. People take the position just figure it out on your own! Pretty sad!😑

April 2, 20251 yr If you are using FRAPS, close it and restart the sim. This worked for me. FRAPS blocked steam overlay from showing.

April 2, 20251 yr I would try going into Steam online, not the Steam Client. Go into wallet. Removing payment method. Reload the same payment method. And then try the purchase again. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
