Hey Damian, while we have you here thank you for always being available to the community over all these years but any progress on the 149+MPH bug with injected weather?  I know when I see 149 I need to switch from active to passive to get the full wind speed, any progress on that in active mode?  I know you've come up with a lot of workarounds in the past!

No, this has been reported (by me) but I haven't seen any others even mention it on the official forums. It has been confirmed to affect real MSFS weather too (at least in some cases). So > 150 is just not possible consistently in MSFS apparently, and when you try (by forcing via preset weather) it drops wind speed to zero. As always, I ask those who want this 150 knot limitation in MSFS removed to speak up in the official forums. My sole bug report isn't going to do much.

No, METAR changes themselves do not trigger cloud updates, the system works much differently than that.  It's per periodic update interval, and that is smoothed unless you trigger an update manually/c

You refunded MSFS 2024 because it was “impossible to fly”? You want a refund for Active Sky after three flights? …but you might buy these again? Okay…..🤔

Awaiting the ticket, I don't see anything yet. Feel free to send me the ticket number in PM. You haven't provided any information showing any discrepancy, only that you expected one thing and got

I still say create your own weather.  Way more fun that way.

Nah!

Planning a flight includes planning for weather at departure and arrival airports.  Enroute weather too is important.  Knowing what the weather is everywhere before getting in the aircraft takes the fun away!

It's a flight sim and not real life. The user can set up whatever scenario they want.
