April 11, 20251 yr Try setting the msfs sound options to make sure both Main Device Output and Communication Device Output are set to the same sound device. If the communications is not set to the same, you can get stutters and the tip off is accompanied by strange sounds. Could be clicks or hissing/ whooshing which sounds like not properly tuned SSB VHF radio chatter. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. April 11, 20251 yr Thanks for the tip! Communication Device Output and Main Device Output were indeed set to different sound devices! Now both are set to the same set of speakers. I'll start a flight and see how it goes.

April 11, 20251 yr Well. I flew a short(ish) LJLJ - EDDM flight with CRJ 900; in Munich I had over 120 AI FSLTL aircraft around me according to Little Navmap, also active were BATC (no traffic management), Active Sky, FS-ATC-Chatter, Spad.Next, Volanta, and GSX. No stutters, no sound hickups while on previous flights I had plenty of both. More testing needed, but so far, so good! You might be onto something here... 🙂

April 11, 20251 yr You are my hero. That was the solution to these terrible jerks with sound dropouts in 2024. Today the first smooth flight. I spent days trying to find a solution and tweaked everything and everywhere. The solution is on a different battlefield and not in the graphics settings, drivers or the stupid user. Thank you.
April 11, 20251 yr Whilst the above may work, when I had this issue, I found that updating my sound drivers did the trick - I also updated my chipset drivers at the same time, so that may have helped.
