Sorry can't help it, this topic made me think of this...

Harry Caray memory:  Between his stints broadcasting for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago White Sox, he broadcasted for the Oakland A's in 1970.  The A's came here in 1968 with Charles Finley as their owner, along with all his crazy promotions and gimmicks.  I remember watching a game on TV from the Oakland Coliseum when a foul ball was hit onto a crowded walkway and a bunch of people were diving for it, which in turn knocked a hotdog vendor over in the chaos.  Harry Caray's comment?  "Aaah, you can't beat fun at the old ballpark!"  My thought at the time about Harry and the A's?  "Who the h-e-l-l are these clowns?" 😆

Or we might have the Big Rip, which is really scary, whether it affects me personally or not.

Whenever I generate a "Big Rip," everyone within a 1,500 nm radius regrets not buying a gas mask...

Oh yes, Bill, but a valuable means of propulsion.  it is said that you have been seen traveling at hypersonic velocity and that a multitude of UFO researchers are on their way to investigate.
