HiFlyer learned at least some of the secret language of cats. Maybe for fun? Maybe for profit?

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I tried that a while back. Doesn't work on my cat.

The communication between cat and owner is often unique, in my opinion.

I thought that was man and owner!

Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

OMG! I can't believe  I said that! Apologies to all feline entities. Nobody can own a cat. They own us.

They forgive you, Martin. Cats are smart; they know that "ownership" is nothing more than a legal fiction. Do you own the air you breathe? Do you own the hummingbirds that visit the feeder in your yard? Do you own your spouse, or your children?

My cats live with me by their own choice. I am honored by their presence. They are my family. They know their names and sometimes come when called... if they want to, of course. I suspect if I said "Ma-ah" to one of my cats, he'd hold up a paw with one middle toe extended.

They will often respond to a gesture:  hold your hand thumb up and wiggle your first two fingers as if running. Even the kittens sometimes respond to this (they're 6 weeks old today!)  This has something to do with the fact that cats have special brain cells that respond to horizontal movement.

My cats (and dogs) are spoiled. This is my purpose in life. We live to serve.

Phew, Thanks Mr. Hook. I was panicking a bit there. Some of this stuff below could have ensued....
