Delete the Rolling cache file. That should give you a “clean” start. That is what I do after each driver update or sim update Also deleting your useropt.cfg file and starting with a fresh one might help ( make a backup of the file first ) Did not have the time to do things one by one, but it is one or 2 things or both combined. I already downloaded the latest DSLL and Video driver when I first got the problem so I know that was not it. I deleted the Nvidea cache so that is one possibility, but I do not believe that was it. I have a 120gig Rolling Cache. When I went to delete my Rolling cache, I realized it was empty. Never did find the CCC file. When I went into 2024, the sim had reverted my cache to the default position on the C drive, but that was also empty with no CCC file. Must have happened with one of the last updates. I changed the Rolling Cache back where it belonged and it create a new CCC file. 4 trips now and not one stutter. Apart from the regular stutters of course. 🙂 (those I can live with) Thanks for you input Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

I can't so I went back to 2020, looks and performs way better. Obviously not for everyone.

June 8, 20251 yr Quite obviously 2024 is a moving target, is in an 'alpha' state perhaps describes it. If unwilling to play along until these issues get resolved then best to stay away and stay in 2020 or XP, and thankfully MS/A continues to let this happen. What would be serious grounds to revolt would be if MS did pull the plug on 2020 but so far no evidence that's going to happen. But if n when 2024 addresses all that 2020 does and 2024 does not do, it would be odd to do anything more than let 2020 still run, i.e. no reason to do any further 'development'.
