June 1, 20251 yr Taking a chance this is happening to others and may know what is going on or maybe even a sol;ution Only since SU went live. I was on Beta and it was perfect. Cant use Beta 3 as it closes the sim or worse. Everything is fine until I take off. At about 500 feet. The sim stutters and freezes and I get like a motion blur effect. Then puff, everything is fine again until I land. Landing, around 500 or so the same thing happens until I land. Making it almost or completely impossible to land. The rest of the flight is uneventful. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
June 1, 20251 yr AutoFPS fixes this by reducing the TLOD when at airports and during landing and take off as well as reducing it if your FPS falls below the target you set. I cannot fathom how a takeoff roll and a landing cause so many issues for a Flightsim. As a side note, I’ve noticed similar behavior since the inception of 2020. The second you start the takeoff and the second you touchdown on landing, my system gets hammered. Can’t believe this behavior was carried over. June 1, 20251 yr Not to be misunderstood, this stuttering issue has become more pronounced lately. Before SU2, it wasn't this obvious. ASOBO needs to optimize this game, and when they release a new "fix," they should not break something else. We shouldn't have to wait for third-party developers to resolve ASOBO's problems, and if outside programmers can fix these issues, like autofps, ASOBO needs to reconsider the capabilities of its team. This situation has reached a point where it is no longer acceptable. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

So the question is, why are there so many beta releases to fix bugs? Oh, I forgot, it's working fine for you; ignore everybody else. I see that we dance around "words" and find all kinds of excuses. My issue is with "leaving MSFS2024 alone seems the best," while many still have known problems. ASOBO is working to fix issues, and some people don't see it and get upset about findings and insist on "just leave that MSFS2024 alone." Certainly, this mentality is undesirable. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

June 1, 20251 yr I also have this issues and I find it unacceptable as well at such crucial phases of flight-sim. Honestly it's indeed a thing to pay more then 200 EUR for a game that needs so many fixes to be acceptable in use at least without CTD, stutter fest, audio problems, lod worse then 2020, ground textures worse then 2020, and so far and so on. I think, that's my opinion, something went really wrong with that release and the number of simmers using still 2020 is high because of a good reason....more stable, more acceptable and more usable. If 2024 was a blast.....2020 wouldn't be used that heavy. Regards, Marcus P.

June 2, 20251 yr Absolutely. Between the weird glowing sea night light effects and stutterfest on take off roll (but fine everywhere else) I've gone back to 2020 which runs smooth as silk.
June 2, 20251 yr Author Funny, did not think I asked what sim was better : 2024 or 2020 You guys have been no help. Just re-hashing old grips about 2024. Meanwhile, my problem remains. At least I got to know its a known problem and not just on my end. and sadly after 2 months of great flying with 2024, I have to revert back to 2020 until I can resolve this issue.
