The return of the Microsoft Flight Simulator franchise has been the best thing to happen to this genre in the past 15 years

Guys.  Why do you continue to rinse, lather and repeat?  Before any more replies read the very first post and ensure your reply is topical.  Almost seems impossible this thread will not end up locked.

  • Goodness me, what does it matter this level of pedantry on something so minuscule? What do you hope to achieve here with this discrepancy?

A lot of speculation and controversy in regards to our announcement I see.

Let me give some clarifications:

- the Aerosoft collaboration is exactly that, a collaboration. The A346 will be released under the Aerosoft brand for MSFS and we will provide the ToLiss systems and flight model. It is indeed the same type of format as prosim/fenix.

- we have the A320ceo coming under the ToLiss brand before the end of the year for XPlane

- we are collaborating with FF for the new A350 under the Flight Factor brand coming 2026 for XPlane

One of our goals as a software business is to be platform independent. The work done for the Aerosoft project allowed us to move in that direction and it was indeed an effort that took almost two years.
being platform independent doesn’t mean we’re leaving one platform for another one. It means that our software will be usable in ANY platform. That being said, we remain committed to XPlane for many different reasons including commercial and gaming agreements already in place for the next 3-5 years minimum within that platform.

We have collaborated with our friends and colleagues since the very start and the collaborations continue to grow and expand.
The flight sim world is growing and expanding and we’re growing with it.
