ATC add-on that works with 2024 flight planner?

In terms of airport compatability - if the airport has parking spots properly connected to runway, this airport can be used in FSHud and fully reconglizable in terms of flight planning and traffic.

I see, so it's not the runways but rather the parking spots. My apologies and thanks for the correction. (EDIT: I'm sorry, it won't let me edit my original post to remove the misinformation. I assume it must be a time limit.)

My misunderstanding stems from how, when trying to make a flight plan for these tiny airports in FSHud, no runways are listed and typing in a runway number doesn't work.

Compatible airport, runways listed:

MSFS Flight planner still doesn't provide proper altitude information and TOD/TOC points.

Just as in a real life filed route, this does not include the anticipated TOC or TOD of a plane. ATC would be expected manage your climb/descent for itself or give you clearance to climb/descend via. IRL ATC does not have access to your aircraft's specific anticipated flight profile.

Additionally, we do provide the thing that is truly needed, which is the filed cruise altitude. Procedure altitudes are trivially available via the navdata APIs so would not be appropriate to be provided, as again, IRL the filed route does not include the procedure altitudes, but merely the filed procedure, and ATC knows those procedure altitudes via its current navigational data and charting.

Hopefully that helps clarify why the API is the way it is for folks reading along.

Please validate SD97 airport according the information below (includes video), make sure it has Parking Spots and Taxiways:

You can send your route from the default flight planner to avionics and the default ATC.

In so doing, you have killed 2 birds with a stone, in a manner of speaking.

Yes, but what about using third-party ATC?

Right, these tiny airstrips lack taxiways and parking.

There's a wishlist thread from 2021 in the MSFS forums about the many small airports without parking. I looked at it again now and it seems I already voted on it before, lol.

If they ever get the world hub working, hopefully we can finally fix this ourselves.

Your information regarding FSHud is completely incorrect and missleading.
Kindly asking not to post things that are barely known.

Now in terms of FSHud airports database - all airport layouts are read from Flight Simulator.
Even if it's fictional airport - FSHud will read it.
In terms of airport compatability - if the airport has parking spots properly connected to runway, this airport can be used in FSHud and fully reconglizable in terms of flight planning and traffic.
(Again, even if it's fictional airport).

Another thing is airport procedures - all this information is taken from Navigraph.
So let's say if you have some fictional airport or airport that doesn't appear in Navigraph database, you will be able only to perform vectored departures and visual approaches.

Hope it brings some light on missleading information.

Cheers

So if the airports are supported (taxi/parking), does FSHud support VFR flights?

And does it support add-on airports - if they have taxi/parking?

No to VFR

Yes to add-on airports.
