A2A Aerostar and TDSGTNXi

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just updated the Aerostar 600 to version 0.9.6, having uninstalled the previous version. I now no longer see the option in the EFB to install the TDS GTNXi. I have gone through the uninstall and reinstall process and still getting the same outcome. Any thoughts how to fix this issue?

Hello,

Does the TDS GTNXi Pro function as VC integrated in other MSFS 2024 aircraft add-ons?

yes it works fine in other aircraft including the A2A Comanche. Prior to this version it also worked fine in the Aerostar 600

Hmm... I'm not seeing this.

The 750 And 650 are working fine for me. The option for the gtnxi shows in the efb. Strange...

Under the Control tab in the EFB, all I am seeing is No GPS, GNS 530 and GNS 430. The TDS has launched, and if I switch the aircraft to say the Comanche, the 750 appears

Do you have A2A EFB set as default app? It may have trouble detecting the installed GPSes if you load it before the flight.

Also test with default livery first. Custom liveries may ship with outdated config files.

Hi some1

Not sure if I fully understand by what you mean by having the A2A EFB set as default app. When the Aerostar spawns the A2A is showing on the on board EFB - is that what you mean?

Just tested with the default livery - following a further uninstall and reinstall of the Aerostar 600 - and still get the same issue in that the option on installing the TDSGTNXi 750 is not showing within the A2A EFB.

Any further thoughts and/or suggestions?

Make sure A2A App is not the one selected under "Default app launched" in the EFB settings menu.

I had this happen to me before. Using the latest TDSGPS Manager to reinstall the gauges fixed the problem for me.

I ran the TDS Manager after the A2A installation.

Good luck.

You should be on - Executable 1.3.0.2 and Gauge 3.0.1 with TDS GPS Manager 1.0.1.6

This fixed it for me as I had the A2A showing as the default app - all working well now

Nothing to do with the topic, but you do not need to uninstall
one version of the aircraft before installing the new version.
The installer does that for you.

After the upgrade I noticed that the TDSGTN was not installed any more but you now have a choice to select one or both of them.
