August 23, 2025Aug 23 Whilst I guess there is a place for rrequests, I'm surprised that someone has not done something with Lands End which is just a collection of ofice blocks in MSFS. There are hundreds of pictures on the internet if someone has the model making skills to create a few buildings and dump them in the right places in somewhere that is a major landmark and tourist attraction. There is the hotel, the first and last house and a number of other buildings which would ceate something that resembled what lands End looks like in the real world. For the airport of course, the default (hand crafted) is decent and you have a really nice freeware addon created by the talented Superspud (who seems to have gone a bit quiet of late) and there is a payware version of the airport by Aerosoft which I haven't tried yet. If there are any scenery creators out there looking for a small project that could enhance Lands End, it would be a very nice addon. I would imagine John O'Groats could probably do with something as well, though I spend less time flying around the north of Scotland than I do in the South West (it's much warmer down there and the weather is a lot nicer 😉 ). August 23, 2025Aug 23 I live just outside Sidmouth in East Devon. The depiction of the countryside is simply astonishing but yeah, coming across a two-story office block on a crossroads that you actually know is a large, thatched farmhouse can be quite jarring. That we notice this stuff is I suppose an indication of just how far we've come in flightsimming.... Superspud; an absolute hero🫡. I have a payware version of Exeter airport and Superspud's freeware. Guess which is better? Edited August 23, 2025Aug 23 by DD_Arthur
August 23, 2025Aug 23 Author Sounds like it's only you and me that are interested then DD_Arthur. I would have expected a few more SW UK flyers might have chipped in. August 23, 2025Aug 23 I'm in the U.S. but that whole area would make a really nice scenery development. Like Porthcurno, or Mousehole...places most people have never heard of...really interesting places to fly in low and slow. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

I've got their Exeter Airport... https://www.aerosoft.com/en/shop/flight/microsoft-flight-simulator/msfs-2020/msfs-sceneries/msfs-europe/3858/aerosoft-airport-exeter-international ....and it's not as good as Superspud's freeware. I suspect Aerosoft's Land's End isn't as good as 'spuds freeware either...
