September 2, 2025Sep 2 Just bought this plane. When the game and plane loads. Right after loading and in the cockpit, I hear a faint spool down whining sound that repeats itself a 2nd time then all is quiet like I'd expect a cold and dark plane to be. This normal? When outside near the engines I hear a rattling sound, this normal? Lastly, none of the many people doors make any sound at all when they open or close, this normal? Thank for any help.

It would be nice to get a short video clip to have an idea of what's going on. Cold and dark, it is so quiet, there should be no noise at all. If outside, if it is just a little wind, the engine blades will move and make some (rattling) noise. When you open or close the doors, there will be some noise. I hadn't seen a 200 for a very long time, and in my opinion, it will be very difficult to match the engine noise. For sure, the SP, 100, 200, AND the 300s have a particular noise. For some of us, those noises are something that can't be forgotten. MUSIC TO OUR EARS! YouTube movies will do justice to those noises. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

I asked on Felis Discord... Yes, its a glitch at loading to hear a click or two then 2 engines faintly spool down. Rattle is loose engine blades and normal. Door currently don't make any sound when opening/closing. Only cargo door make a electric motor noise when doing so.
