Possibly, if you have the passenger 777 and the 777F, you might still hear the touchdown and rollout sounds in the 777F.

But if you have only the 777F (as I do), there does indeed seem to be missing sounds.    And considering the drastic effect it has on overall experience and enjoyment, I'm puzzled and disappointed that PMDG just don't seem to care about being in a hurry to fix this issue.

This would explain why I don't have the issue either.  Sounds in the -300 are not bad at all.  Lot's of rattles, squeaks, touchdown sounds etc.  my biggest complaint is the wipers being so loud!!

I agree.  Usually if something is that reproducible and there is a ticket open they are pretty responsive.  I've worked with them on a couple of open tickets and they have always responded.  

I wish Boris Audio would make a sound set for the 777. I use it for the 737 and it's great.

What exactly are people hoping to hear on touchdown? If it’s a smoothish landing on a smoothish runway surface, you’ll hear a slightly low gush of air and the speedbrake handle extending….genuinely curious what the hope is here.

Not at the moment. Reading the dev forum, there are two known bugs in the current iteration of SU4 (that Asobo is aware of) that might be causing the 777 to not activate. WASM aircraft cannot correctly read the contents of their WORK directory, which in the case of PMDG is where all the configuration files are stored, along with flight plans and nav data. Also, there is a problem reading Environment variables in WASM.

There is another issue with the MSFS Nav data that is causing the LAT/LON of all ILSs to be set to zero, which prevents ILS approaches from working in all the default MSFS aircraft. I don’t know if this affects 3rd party add ons, but I suspect it might.

Supposedly, fixes for these issues should be in the next SU4 update

I am expecting to hear a thud, followed by rattles and rumbles as the aircraft rolls out. Unfortunately, I am not hearing anything. I could be flying a feather for all that the audio environment is telling me.

Also how did support respond when you reported it? Is this a known problem for them?

MSFS 2020. I have not contacted support, because I have had confirmation from others that it has already been reported, and is a known issue.

Hey Chris,

I would still reach out and open a ticket.  I can't see them logging no sounds in the flightdeck as a known issue and doing nothing about it.  Something seems off there especially if it is only for -F owners.  

Better to reach out for yourself than take someone else's word for it and the more data points they have as to where the issue is occurring the more likely they are to resolve it... 

When I opened a ticket they asked for a multitude of follow up information and took the time to fly multiple flights to try to reproduce the issue.
