September 12, 2025Sep 12 I will not be flying my 777F again until that sound update is released. Zero sounds at touchdown and rollout are not what I am looking for in flight simulation. September 12, 2025Sep 12 PMDG has those sounds, if they didn't I would know it... besides in a pretend scenario where they didn't don't you have FS Realistic to cure all touchdown sounds for any aircraft for like years now? Who doesn't use FSRealistic is my question

September 13, 2025Sep 13 I appreciate that plenty of users of the PMDG 777 hear touchdown and rollout sounds, but that does not help me. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved when the sound update is released. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved when the sound update is released. I honestly doubt it. We all know PMDG; system-wise, they make great airplanes, if not the best, but they don’t care enough about art and sound design. So, I guess it will be a huge letdown again and won’t sound like a real 777 once again.
September 13, 2025Sep 13 Well, the touchdown and rollout sounds of the 777 were great in P3Dv4 (together with the rest of the sounds), so there is no excuse for them not to deliver in the MSFS 2020 and 2024 versions. September 13, 2025Sep 13 As far as I can tell, If you have the (passenger) 777 you will hear the touchdown and rollout sounds. Possibly, if you have the passenger 777 and the 777F, you might still hear the touchdown and rollout sounds in the 777F. But if you have only the 777F (as I do), there does indeed seem to be missing sounds. And considering the drastic effect it has on overall experience and enjoyment, I'm puzzled and disappointed that PMDG just don't seem to care about being in a hurry to fix this issue. September 13, 2025Sep 13 I don't really understand why PMDG has so many issues with the 777 sounds in MSFS. The GE90 sound set in P3D was great. Now it feels very synthesized, for lack of a better term.
September 13, 2025Sep 13 I can't fly without FS Realistic....those enhanced undercarriage/landing gear, air drag and touchdown sounds make the immersion! So satisfying! I only have the 777F, so I guess that is why I am not hearing those touchdown and rollout sounds. I also agree with James that the 777 sound set in P3D was very nice, so quite why they have made a mess of it in MSFS is difficult to understand. September 13, 2025Sep 13 Author That's a very specific and reproducible bug. Has it been reported to PMDG support? In the past, I have found them to be very responsive. Cheers.
