I heard you can map the ailerons etc through 2024 you need axis and ohs, fsuipc or spad next to get it too work? 

Not sure what that would be referring to, but I use the plane just fine with the default mappings.  I own fsuipc but don't even have it running, and I don't use anything else for controls, just FS defaults.

Not a great lover of glass cockpits but this has really caught my eye.

 

I know Carendo did a steam gauge early model for Prepar3d , I really enjoyed that.

Yeah I remember that one and before transiting to MSFS, I flew that a lot along with other A2A's planes in FSX/P3D. Carenado's or Alabeo I think it was called DA40 was reasonable but not great - certainly not complex.
