Yes, I am aware of that. I guess I was just hoping that the ATC system in a next generation flight simulator would now be able to tell the difference between an AI passenger plane, and a freighter.

Current ATC/AI system is in many parts far behind what we had in former simulators. Too sad.

This issue hasn't changed since FS2004 including every variant of P3d.

how big is the parking-spot in the scenery?

I have no idea, but it is presumably large enough to accommodate the reduced wingspan of a 737-800. These look like helicopter hangars, so any AI parking spots associated with them should probably be quite small. The airport is Aerosoft ENVA Trondheim.

 You would think a dev like Aerosoft would have coded parking let alone use more appropriately sized parking spots.
