AIG Manager

Featured Replies

There is an option in the AIG Manager to reduce the wingspans of AI planes so that (apparently) more AI planes are visible at airports (due to some bug with the AI parking spot sizes). Is this just for default airports, or does it also make a difference with payware airports?

It does make a huge difference with payware airports, yes.

OK, my second question would be.....does it result in airliners parking in daft locations?

not if the airports is designed according to SDK 😉 There might be around 0,5% of strange parkings with the smaller regional airplanes that end up in GA stands that are actual set to a to big-size in the Sim

I am confused. I have just run the AIG AI Manager again, and there were further model and flightplan updates. However, after completing these, I cannot find that option to reduce the wingspans of the AI planes. It seems to have vanished  Where should it be in the menu? I have version 1.3.6.1 installed.

Wrong, still works, maybe gate assignments are slightly messed up, but not hugely wrong.

On the "main" OCI page the orange box will be removed if it is already enabled, since you have already the recommended settings. If you want to disable it again you have to go via the Settings-Page as shown in a few posts above.

Ah, now I see it, and "reduced wingspans" is enabled. I hope that has only been enabled since my latest update, because I was hoping to see what I consider to be missing AI planes at some airports (particularly at EGNM Leeds Bradford).

Be aware that after checking or unchecking Use reduced Wingspan, you must run a VerifySetup.

Noticed a Transavia 737-800 at (MK Studios) LEGE Girona Costa Brava this evening, but it was sitting at parking position F1. I would have expected it to be at the main terminal....

For accurate parking, the airport has to have coded parking spots for each airline that serves the airport.
