October 6, 2025Oct 6 For fs2024, is it possible for PSXT to use both aig and fstl models? Seeing as the md-11 is not available from AIG, it would be nice if PSXT could use both ai sources Marco D'Agostino
October 7, 2025Oct 7 Of course it is! By default PSXT right in the GUI shows AIG, FSLTL and JF as the priority selection of aircraft to use. You really only need the MD11's from FSLTL, everything else x8+ is included with AIG. You can also customize your addon ai aircraft collection with PSXT. I use a hybrid collection of AIG along with the MD11's from FSLTL and then my own custom added liveries. 8000+ from AIG and another 14000 of my own (mostly GA and military plus some extra airline liveries not included with AIG). Ok thanks. I've never used PSXT before, but given how broken sayintentions and beyondatc are (to be fair to them, they're still beta and hard at work). How does it work when it comes to trying to land at a busy airport and taxi around? Since it's live you can't really participate in ATC Marco D'Agostino

Just my opinion but I'll take accurate AI traffic movement over any of current ATC programs that work with AI traffic. They are all still too slow in moving traffic. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

I see, I was just curious about trying to land and taxing around. Marco D'Agostino

Dave are the MD11's the only aircraft from FSLTL that aren't present with AIG? If that is the case then can I delete everything but the MD's in FSLTL's simobjects and effects directories? i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

Planes drifting on their rear landing gear as they turn😤😞. I assume this is still a thing? Marco D'Agostino

Yes, I moved the MD11 over to my custom AI aircraft folder and then disabled the fsltl-traffic-base from being used in the sim and PSXT. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

It can be depending on where you are, but it's still better imo than watching an aircraft land then slowly exit or even spin around once or twice on the runway and then exit on a reverse taxiway and only then does the next departure get lined up etc or not get lined up at all because the next arrival is inside 8 miles final or what have you. It's all actual proper separation, something that the sim controlled ai knows nothing about. It's not perfect and does have it's glitches, but in overall airport operations it's so much better in every way. No need for coded airline parking, traffic parks where they do irl for the actual flight, not anywhere and everywhere. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

I wish the program could do something with the delay it has, like somehow smoothing out the taxi turns and parking. Pretty immersion breaking when you see a plane taxi far into the gate and then back up Marco D'Agostino

Most of the time, this is caused by the addon airport designer not correctly positioning the terminals and gates. The live aircraft are at their real-world positions; if that position does not align with the gate position in the addon, PSXT will slowly move them to their correct location (in the sim) at the gate . Ok, and what about when aircraft touchdown well short of the runway? I'm sure that's an addon airport problem? Marco D'Agostino
