Hmm, perhaps I ought to trade in my flight controllers and buy a touchscreen monitor. Go modern!

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I must admit, I prefer buttons, knobs, sliders, handles, switches, etc. … but I get why Touch Screen is popular be it phone, iPad, car display … but in defense of the touch screen, I rarely touch it as all my controls are on the steering wheel (and I do mean everything) … the only time I look at my Bolt EV display is for navigation.   Voice recognition does the rest.

Touchscreens are great. But not so great if you are in a jet equipped with touchscreens in turbulence. Thus, physical controls are a must.

Same for cars. You don't want to be leaning over and messing with a touchscreen when you are trying to maneuver a vehicle, at speed, in tricky traffic.

Well, while I like Horacio Pagani's work, I think he went overboard this time, but I get your point. I'm in the search for a new car and I see lots of options with the A/C and radio controls in a touchscreen. Yuck!

Yep, over the top for sure. But its an attempt at design, consideration of aesthetics, art, rather than zero attempt. Why not attempt to make a vehicle look nice inside rather than, well errr... devoid of anything.

Brooklynite: "Yo, Tesla, take me tuh Albany while I sleep, ok, or what" !

And then he wakes up in Albany, Georgia, instead of the capital in upstate New York.

And that would be quite a shock upon awakening. 🤣

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Just had a thought.... Some of these UFO whistleblower people claim that in the inside of an alien ship there's pretty much nothing, like they are controlled by psychic powers, or something. So does that mean that alien craft are made by Tesla?????? 🤔
