A2A A600 "microjumps" question

The bumps do not have anything to do with turbulences.

  • Do you also get the sound crackles when panning in external view?

  • Yes, unfortunately only by disabling camera shake. A2A has this issue since their first Comanche release with MSFS and say that they could't fix it. Its too sad, but once you got used to not ha

Well ... when I turn Turbulences slider down, the "jumps" are less frequent ... I'll make a video and show you the difference and timing with the "jumps" and relationship to the Turbulence slider in EFB for the 600

I have checked. No other plane in my hangar suffers from the annoying issue! Whether i turn turbulence effects on or off, camera shake on or off, nothing seems to prevent those unrealistic jumps! In the cockpit, the jumps are less frequent with camera shake off, an no turbulence set in EFB, but outsidewiev its crazy! Of course a2a can fix this! There must be a way! Such an outstanding developer must be able to fix this issue, especially since no other plane i own suffers from this irritating jumps. Its not realistic in no aspects what so ever. Just sort of kills the fun of flying this otherwise remarkable and outstanding nice aircraft! Come ona2a, please fix this ASAP!

I can't say I've ever seen this in the Aerostar.  I do have all camera effects (including shake) disabled, and run sim turbulence on medium, unsure if that's related.

As far as wind goes, I'm not sure what is meant by not experiencing wind?  The crosswind physics in the Aerostar in 24 are second to none.  If you mean mechanical turbulence related to wind, it's probably related to your turbulence settings.

Turning the Shake off has helped quite a bit and makes it flyable.

However , when switching from internal to external view the aircraft still jumps up and down.

When we  bought early access we expected things like this but not in a final release.

Correct! Its no where near realistic in any aspects! Those jumps when i outsidewiev are just crazy and stupid!

A2A, fix that!

...and the strange thing is, no other aircraft i own (and i have almost everything that possibly flies in 2024) and NO other aircraft behaves like this! So why and for what ever reason A2A have not noticed this odd, strange and unrealistic behavior is beyond me...

Even more strange that they dont adress the issue and fix it. Its hard to believe that it would be rocketsience to solve that issue...

Why do you think they haven't noticed it?
And why don't you post all your frustration at the A2A forum? That is the only and right place if you want further help.

I've spent a long time looking at the A2A Forum and it isn't helpful.

They talk about stutters but we are talking about the image moving up and down. For me a stutter is quite different.

Are they in denial? I don't know but accessing their forum isn't easy

A2A is pretty straight forward about any issue. I can't remember they ever denied anything I knew them since FSX times.

I don't have so called "micro jumps". Irregular "chops" are pretty realistic for light GA specially in turbulence

Who is talking about frustration? This is not frustration, its fact! And i am allowed to express that, right? And i have adressed this to A2A, but still no reply.

This is definitely not stutters, that is something totalt different, i agree. This is like the whole plan bounces up and down...

where is that thread? Maybe we can jump in?

I’m wondering if these micro jumps are somehow related to controller mappings?  I need to check a few things …

I wish I could experience them, I did at one point during the Beta cycle, but now, no matter where I go with reported high crosswinds and take-off and land … zero impact on the aircraft … as in I don’t have to a crab in, don’t need to drop the wing/wheel a little, nothing … the flight experience is exactly the same with a 23Kts crosswind vs. a 2Kts crosswind.

I’ll try to get some video up this weekend to demonstrate that crosswinds are having zero affect on the 600.

I thought this is/was an MSFS 2024 problem, so I purchased ActiveSky to see if that would have some influence … but nothing.

So MSFS Live Weather and AcitveSky Weather, neither has any sort of impact.

I read somewhere that MS/Asobo reduce wind strength below a certain altitude or around airports?  Is this accurate?  I’m grasping at straws trying to figure out why the 600 isn’t impacted by significant winds.

Can someone give me a location and time/date where the winds have impacted the 600 on takeoff and approach landing and I’ll try there?   Video would be nice also.

Weren't these "stutters" related to Simconnect somehow? I remember reading something about it back when I was using their Comanche in MSFS 2020 and suffering this weird "jumps". I was never able to fix it and ended up uninstalling the Comanche. And that's the reason I haven't bought their Aerostar.

This is the only add-on that behaves like this (and I own almost all of the GA / tubeliners around).
