There are some addons where you can’t use points.

and IIRC, even those that do, you can’t mix points and dollars.

Best solution I’ve found for HI is the ortho provided with the Northern Sky airports. Covers half of each island, more or less

They include the ortho link in the install manual.

Ironically, the Taburet scenery is only valuable for the reefs watermasks. The land coloration and resolution, while better than default, is substandard vs the NSS.

the good news is Taburet reefs do happen to work with the NSS ortho if you have your scenery layering correct. 👍

Well, as I'm probably sitting on a pile of unredeemed points by now, I've never noticed this. Time to investigate. The good stuff is probably off limits though...

I would definitely investigate - there’s some genuinely good addons to be had with points.

just have to be patient and work your way down your list! 🤙

for me, it’s generally

something I wouldn’t spend cash on, but something that’s a neat enhancement. E.g., the really rather nice SimCoders Piper Cub REP.  It was “free”, but man what a sweet little ride !

Redoing an xchecklist for 767 may work on the 757

Found nothing interesting for points, but got weak on VSKYLABS' anniversary sale.

Ha ha!

vSkyLabs has gotten quite a bit of money out of me. Genuinely good and interesting addons.

Graphics are a little oldish (tho they have been updated now and again). But, man, what a nice addon!

I always fly the C-32 just so I can pretend i'm somebody important 😉

Their approach to stick very closely to what's possible in Plane Maker pays might not make for the most in-depth stuff, but at least you won't have to worry about having to flick too many switches to get going.

You're not important if you're the one doing the flying. 😝
