I did mention there's a massive changelog that's coming for the 500, I just didn't see the point in posting such a large changelog here. Also to bear in mind, this was a status update, there was no release timeline for *anything* 1 hour ago, Fiorentoni said: Since the FSS E-Jet I‘m personally done with new developers that release their first product in a miserable state and [...] Yeah I hear you and it does suck the state it was originally released it but I'd prefer some sort of updates rather than it being left in its initial state. Ideally I'd love for it to be great right from release but we are where we are now. CSS can decide whether they want to try and recover from this or not but as it seems they're on the path to recovery. Ultimately time will tell.

November 24, 2025Nov 24 Anyone who owns this - what do you think about the airplane so far? I was really considering this previously but so far I'm reading only negative reviews so far. Plus I'm not too fond by their subscription model however I'm might give it a try for 5$ once all variants releases to see if it is worth it.

The fidelity was clearly there, it was just rife with bugs. You can pretty much do what you can with the likes of PMDG/Fenix, barring failures but there was just too many bugs (in my experience) to make this an enjoyable experience. The flight model felt fantastic and there was nice touches like the rattling glareshield and knobs that would shake out of position that really gave it that old classic feel. Then there was the quite frankly poor performance that was greatly alleviated by FS24. To keep it short, it had all the necessary ingredients for a great product, just needs some more time in the oven, hopefuly with this new update things can turn around.

Can't tell about the current state since I haven't been using the plane since it was released initially, so I only experienced the early update(s). I used the $5-payment to gain access and was glad I didn't pay more. The performance was very bad, while at the same time the visuals and the sounds are nowhere near to what you'd expect today. I was very disappointed. I thought maybe the systems / flight modeling is good, but it did not seem so (buggy and very unrealistic climb / performance figures). From my impression, freeware developers like FlyByWire deliver more quality with their A320neo/A380. I know it's hard to compare and they are not the same airplanes, but I had to make this comparison given the developer of this 737 wants money for it. To be clear: I'm not a 737 pilot so my experience comes only from using other products like PMDG, iFly, Zibo and IXEG. And the IXEG has many flaws from my point of view (no product is perfect and all have their issues, PMDG still does the best job in my opinion), but still is a way better than this version. Also the free Zibo for X-Plane is miles ahead of it, eventhough it's a NG and no classic. Like I said: Not used it anymore because it didn't meet my expectations, but maybe they improved and updated it. For me, the initial versions felt like an alpha / a toy / early attempt of a new developer and I thought they need a large amount of time to fix all the stuff. Most reviews I read or watched were similar with my experience though. I will try it again some day in the future, if it's reviewed again with positive feedback after these updates. November 24, 2025Nov 24 Like @roesti, I bought a 1 month subscription for $5 in September. I can't comment on how it is now but at that point, I would say that if you were expecting something even close to PMDG / iFly / Fenix fidelity, you'd be pretty much guaranteed to be disappointed. I didn't like the core sounds (engines, wind depiction, roll, etc), the textures felt like a later FSX release and it was just packed full of bugs. The AP was a mess. Hand flying characteristics felt ok. Ultimately, I didn't once feel inclined to fly it again within the month's subscription I'd paid for. I flew it once, from EGKK to EDDF and never felt any urge to choose it again, over other options. November 26, 2025Nov 26 Perfect thanks for response above - I'll wait for other variants to release and then give it a try with month's subscription to see if it is worth the price they are specifying.
