Getting Ready For the IniBuilds L1011!

How do you know it's not at their end? Why don't you go to their forum and see all the issues from other members complaining. Let me remind you, you told me there was no bug and on a previous topic you found a bug and had an issue. It needs to be pointed out many times until it's fixed.

No need to reply if it's not bothering you.

  • Same here...but it was a military charter from Naples, Italy on an ATA L1011....about 20 pax on board...we all sat up front, LOL.  Flew a World Airways DC-10 over there (and was just as empty). T

  • I love the Tristar and flew from Manchester to Goa in one in 1997!  But have ini made any recent comments to suggest a likely release window?   Ie. Did I miss it?

  • I actually forgot they were doing this one, such a beautiful aircraft.

Because they said It's a streaming issue.

Don't believe what they say. I have purchased other planes through streaming and none of them have this issue. Lousy developer.

Roger and out. 🙂

Thanks, I posted my specs. My PC can't even run Windows 11.

Mine can't run W11 either. I don't know about performance of a 3070 and 8GB VRAM may be limiting, but you should have a similar if not better experience than me with your current CPU. Try 2024, take your time on setup because you'll have to reconfigure controller and keyboard settings if you want it to act like 2020 control-wise.

Wrong. Just because they haven't fixed it yet doesn't make them lousy, it means they haven't found the cause or fix yet. Patience.

And not everyone has the issue.

I had the pleasure of flying on an American Trans Air (ATA) L-1011 Milwaukee to Las Vegas and return back in 1997 on our honeymoon (still married to the same wife - hard to believe that was 28 years ago?).

In any case, the plane was incredible - I’d never been on a widebody, and even back in 1997 it felt like the planes were old and on borrowed time.  Just massive feeling, in retrospect like riding aboard a 1972 vintage 777?  I remember the engines making this odd “chanting” noise during taxi I’ve not heard before or since.

On this trip I also discovered the BOXES on display for the soon to be released FS98, so I spent way too much time dreaming about that in addition to normal honeymoon stuff.  😂

Needless to say I’ll be buying this Day 1 and I hope someone does the blue and gold ATA “runway” old scheme (both our planes were painted that way).

A word of wisdom to youngsters from this 50 year old - savor and enjoy flights, especially on old birds - someday you’ll be proud to say you actually got to ride aboard a 737-700 or CRJ-200 etc.

Will it be available for 2020?

I worked these planes as an A&P for decades and did many a cockpit test hop, I’d absolutely be thrilled to have one in my sim. But sadly if it’s for 2024 I will be stuck as my PC is old and can’t afford a new one.

Define "old".  MSFS 2024 might surprise you.

Windows tells me my PC is not capable because of my hardware.

This and the JF A300 development update - what a lovely treat for the holidays. Hopefully they are both not too far away, maybe mid next year?

The Tristar isn't for me, but I'm sure I'll enjoy watching other people fly it.

Guys, what is the best way to buy 2024? I don’t have or use Steam.
