Custom sensitivity per plane

Featured Replies

Guys, is there a way to have a custom sensitivity curve for a controller per plane ? Currently i need to go to set it manually each time.

Sure. Inside the bindings settings for each control profile. You must check the 'override'-checkbox.

I do this by searching by input:

and then I check 'device input override' and adjust sensivity by clicking on 'tweak action curve'

Thanks ! and by selecting the override it will be applied to the specific aircraft ? How does it connect it to the plane i need ?

automatically. That's part of the FS2024 controller bindings logic.

Why the ”Tweak action curve” is greyed out?

check 'device input override'

Yep, you must go to the controllers' Airplanes controls under presets config, but don't use the gear icon to the right of that field to adjust sensitivity, leave it at default perhaps as that is the global setting, and what would need changed between planes.  In the input field enter the name of the specific axis you're wanting to customize the sensitivity for and choose the gear icon to its right.  From there enable Device input curve override, then select Tweak action curve at which point the sensitivity control interface appears where you make your changes.  A dialogue will open up indicating you have created a new profile, and you can edit its name for example using the airframe's name.  Each time you start a flight w/ that plane it should bring that profile up automatically.  There is another field below Airplanes controls, called Specific that will let you retain what you did above, but tweak it again (or any other parameters besides axes) to make a unique profile.  Nested profiles...

@Noel and @MaGer1965 who first pointed out this "override" option, big thank you because I was not aware that it wa the way to creat aircraft or group - specific sensitivities, and was convinced that any tuning would always apply to all profiles 😕

Great hint !
