Fenix docs, where?

Featured Replies

I spent some time on Fenix's site and they say "Fenix User Guide C:\Program Files\FenixSim A320\docs."

I have that folder but no docs.

Where are these docs?

Thanks.

Jack Sawyer

Well, I'm now looking in the EFB folder and I have one file, efb.bin. When I go to their web page all I see is FAQ's and descriptions of how to deal with CTD's and other problems.

I have absolutely no idea how to use Discord so that's out of the question for me, I'm old, I can't understand Discord.

Thanks for your reply.

When you look into C:\ProgramData\Fenix\EFB there must be a folder 'documents' and in there are 3 pdfs. There is a 26-page 'FenixSim A320 User Guide.pdf'. That's it.

You don't need discord (which is basically a forum...) at all...

If you experience a problem, file a ticket.

For all questions regarding the actual aircraft, refer to any respective realworld FCOM.

The Fenix support hub is here

No sir, I can send a screenshot tomorrow. No documents folder. I looked though all folders in there and it’s just program files. All I have is one file in the EFB folder called efb.bin.

I believe you - BUT: It has to be there. Something's gone wrong with your installation. I'd contact Fenix.

Hi, I just sent them a ticket.

Here's what I did in the last hour. I downloaded the latest installer from my account. On the PC I uninstalled every shred of it, all liveries from the community folder, I used the uninstall method from Programs in the Control Panel, and deleted all icons, you name it I got rid of it. Rebooted and ran the new installer and added just one livery and still no documents in the EFB folder except efb.bin.

I guess all I can do is wait for Fenix. I'm brand new to Fenix, do they respond to support tickets or are they like some who never ever respond. I hope I just didn't waste something like $180.00.

Yes, they do. In 40+ years of computing I've hardly ever met a more professional support staff.

No, you didn't. There is nothing of comparable excellence in the flight simulation field.

You did not waste anything. Fenix gets back quite quickly unless it is a weekend support is very reduced.
