February 27Feb 27 Hm, this may be funny for people, but not so for the cats, who are getting the scare of their lives. I do not think this is very good for a cat. Well, I would normally agree, but since this is almost surely AI, I assume no cats were harmed in the making of this video. My enjoyment was curtailed more by that fact that even though I don't share the popular aversion to AI vids, I do feel strongly about cats, and thus found myself generally unhappy about cruel treatment to even computer generated felines. February 27Feb 27 Definitely AI. When the food bowl gets turned upside down, there is far too little cat food spilled, and at first the bowl is deformed. Fritz and Pye were sound sleepers, I guess. Occasionally we'd walk into a room with them and it would startle them. They went straight up a foot or two. We referred to this as, "levitating the cats". It was never intentional. None of our other cats did this. Cats are apparently highly startled by the sudden notice of a cucumber and do the levitation trick. You can probably find any number of videos of this. I won't do this to my own cats to see if it works. Search YouTube for "cats and cucumbers". Not nearly as bad as the video above. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! February 28Feb 28 Author Yeah, this video is just the current iteration of cartoons. Where were you back in the day when this happened? Tom could have used some advocacy 🤪
