The inibuilds sale has been good for me.  I grabbed:

KJFK (not sure exactly how I'll fly into there realistically as a GA only pilot)

KRSW from Verticalsim - they just announced a 2024 upgrade on their discord

KVPS and KFRG

Wait, is this going to somehow get back to my wife?  What gets purchased digitally stays between me and my PC.  😄 KTOA Torrence California - Not on sale, but I wanted to check out this developer

How can you live with those PG trees, Rob? How can anyone??

The blind eye, the alternative is even worse … may as well use DLSS and fake frames if I want more fake 😉 with AG.

But yeah, they do look terrible … can’t deny that.  One would think with all this massive diversion to AI, Microsoft would have been able to clear up this tree mess in PG … But it seems most of the AI hardware consumption is being used to make fake YT videos and targeted advertising… ugh

I am just glad that I consider the autogen scenery to look perfectly fine. The trees certainly look better

Still havent gotten a chance to look at my scenery but was the fix specific to your install or is there now a patch out for it?

I contacted the developer who provided me a link to a version that works in 2024.  However, I don’t think the LODS are set correctly for MSFS 2024 given how hangers on north east side don’t render until close.  Seems very much like a MSFS 2020 port

Renders better, but just not "as real as it gets" 😉  hehe  ... 3D obelisk vs. 3D fake building ... neither is fine ... don't let MS/Asobo off the hook so easily ... IMHO, these Obelisks can be fixed without breaking the banking or hurting the bottom line ... it's just a lot of offline computing.  Maybe MSFS 2028 we'll see Microsoft spending a small (tiny/insignificant) part of their overall profit and use AI to make these bridges and trees look like bridges and trees 🙂
