.....The problem after a while is that the more you get, the less you use them. that's logic! But it's like a drug, I can't refrain to buy some from times to times.....

This is the advantage of my very short (30 minute) circuit flights at each of my airports. I can rattle through them at a great pace, and I enjoy the experience every time

Nothing in the most beautiful place of the World ? Porta Land ? Where's LPPT, LPPR, LPMA... ??? 😁

I did say "in the past 30 days"  I already have LPPT and LPMA, and I use the hand crafted version of LPFR.

I'm planning on buying a bunch more from the Inibuilds March sale.  At least KFRG and KRSW.

I think at this point I'm more of an airport collector rather than flight simmer.

I decided a long time ago that I would only buy airports that I was going to visit regularly.

I bought KFRG when it was released because that's where I did most of my training and initial CFI. There's a freeware for v2020 at flightsim.to that was well done, but once I moved on to v2024 SU4, I decided to get the payware.

Looking over Ryan's list I saw KPVD.  That could be interesting.

Then I went wait that sound familiar.

Yep already had it. Never flown it.

By the way. Google has something called "my maps" All my airports are saved there. Has colored icons so one color for paid and another for freeware then add the airport designation to the front of the name.

Yeah that is what I told my brother a couple of months ago.

But here I am looking over everybody's list.

Although I am looking for good smaller airports as I fly the Bonanza more and more.

Always need 2 that are close by though.

The good part about my little list is that I have yet to fly from any of those seven airports. That will change very soon, and I am looking forward to seeing all of them.

Amusing thread; my wife notices when I buy something but never challenges it 🙂

I almost bought EDDF and EDDM, but realized that the 2024 premium versions I have are good enough for the couple of times that I fly there. I might purchase HAAB soon.

wanted to let the world know which airports I have purchased over the past month...

No LGSA?  I tried a flight last night from LGSA to LTFJ in the 737-900 … LGSA is nice but the biggest problem were the water cracks/lines … even at Ultra setting they looked horrible crossing the water (Asobo issue not airport dev) … almost abandon the flight and fired up XP12 the water looked so bad in this area of the world.

MK Studios airports have a 'Configuration' tab to install their GSX profile

I wish every airport developer would create a GSX profile … I just do NOT have the time to create one for even just the one gate I’m at, let alone all the others.  I’d happily pay extra for a version of the airport that came with full set of gates/parking spots with GSX profile (make them a separate purchase so those that don’t have GSX don’t have to pay for it) … I know it takes a lot of work (been there done that and hated it) to make GSX profiles so happy to pay for that work … the older I get the more I value time.

Very visible water cracks/lines (coupled with those oversaturated red colours in the terrain textures) will stop me from purchasing this airport at the present time. I am just so fussy about visual anomalies that I have to be careful. I even decided not to get MM Simulations ENEV Harstad Narvik because of some easily visible rectangular texture features on a nearby mountain!

I almost always wait for sales to help keep costs down, unless the airport is really above and beyond in quality (the MK Studio KEYW is a good example of one that is just "wow I need this at full price").  Being a GA flyer, most small or regional airports are $15 or less.  I'm not buying the big airports.  I'm sure there are airports I've only hit once or twice along the way.  Most stores have a wishlist, so I add a bunch of stuff and wait for sales.

I also try and stick to certain parts of the world.  For me that's mostly US, Bahamas/Caribbean and some UK.  That's still a lot, but I try and keep it under control.

I also purposely plan flights to hit those airports.  I have a spreadsheet that tracks all my payware and freeware and I make sure I try and hit the payware ones at least.

Well, EGKK London Gatwick may not be on sale, but IniBuilds now have a Global Gateways sale that includes five airports @ £11.99........and one of them is EGCC Manchester. That is a 45% discount! So that makes eight new airports in the past 30 days

EDIT - the five airports are EGCC/FACT/FAOR/YBBN/PHNL, and the sale only lasts for 24 hours!!

KTOA Torrence California - Not on sale, but I wanted to check out this developer (Spinoza) as they have a lot of CA airports

KEYW Key West- MK Studios, I already had an older version, but this was impossible to pass up.  Conch Republic all the way!

EGLK BlackBushe - It was on sale really cheap in the marketplace

KTTN Trenton Mercer - was flying around the NY/NJ area and needed another airport.  Xwindstudios

KPLK    M Graham Clark Downtown Airport - Was on sale from DC Designs

I'm planning on buying a bunch more from the Inibuilds March sale.  At least KFRG and KRSW.

I had no idea there was a payware KTOA for MSFS. Spinoza might not be my favorite developer but way, way better than default. Socal is slowly getting covered with quality airports. Now if only Mr vbazzilio can come to his darn senses and delete all that static aircraft from his airports 🤣

Just picked up KFRG and KTTN
