May 3May 3 Author not suggesting anyone go back, just if 20 year tech can render landing why can’t current tech? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
May 3May 3 Author I moved back the AIG folders into the community folder. Disabled AI Traffic in the various places in MSFS 2024. Set PSXT back to “Automatic” and pointing to AIG. With this setup I can use PSXT or nothing … who knows, maybe someday Asobo will take on the suggestion to make culling a user graphics setting (unlikely but hope springs eternal). The only strange issue with PSXT now is that when I do a Scan of Liveries PSXT just closes, doesn’t CTD, app just closes/exits? Not sure what the issue is there but have reported via email. So I avoid doing a Scan of Liveries and PSXT does load all and work with RealTraffic. Edited May 3May 3 by SayAgain Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

Well first, that parameter is wrong it should have point to .. /Packages/StreamedPackages But second, MSFS 2024 AI aircraft are streamed packages, so they do not work with PSXT. There are no aircraft.cfg files available to scan. Edited May 3May 3 by kiek

So you then just restart PSXT and let it scan liveries when it starts the next time. May 3May 3 I don't think it should, but I have seen it do that on occasion. I don't know why and I don't really care or mind that it does. I start it again and it scans for liveries. It's an extra 5-10 seconds that I can live with. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

May 4May 4 Author UPDATE: I moved all the offending AI aircraft listed in the .txt files out of the community folder. Ran PSXT, click Scan (for Liveries) and it scan and got a message at the bottom it's restarting, closes PSXT but never restarts it ... is this intentional after one clicks on the Scan (for liveries button)? Anyway, I don't see much of an impact to AI traffic however when I change from 100% target to 70% target nothing happens, same number of AI traffic remain .. even when I change to from 100% to 30%. Perhaps I'm not understanding the "Target %" option? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

Perhaps I'm not understanding the "Target %" option? What do you mean with AI Trafic? Live aircraft? The target % is the number of static parked aircraft you'd like to see. Note that what you will see also dpends on Max Fit, Soft, Week, the depth of matching, and how many liveries you have installed.... Please read the Manual chapter 7. Edited May 4May 4 by kiek

I am getting lots of errors in the Liveries search, what should I do? PSXT will only use the valid liveries found. For the time being you can just ignore the errors and enjoy flying. You don’t need to repair all the errors immediately (or even not at all). If you want to have more liveries then you should pay attention to the errors and repair them by making changes to aircraft.cfg files, or by informing the creator of the package of the errors.
