Try it and see! I think it's like using something like Imagur. The Pic is still hosted by where you found it. I't's liker
using a BBCode for an image host.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

I just asked that of the site owner! I await his reply!

I just copied & pasted this photo, citing a URL is no longer needed. When you paste your image, a settings icon (gear) shows up on the upper right corner of the image, showing 3 editing options.

Anything I post from Flikr is so tiny now. Can we please have the ability to have the larger sized screenshots? I honestly don't even want to contribute anymore - the shots are miniature and it's hard to make out details especially if I'm showing off an aircraft or a cool part of a scenery.

I did see a gear icon when I embed pics but even if I set the largest it auto shrinks down to about 1/4 of my monitor's width. My screenshots are basically just thumbnails now sad

Yup, me too. That plus the loud ad sounds that pop-up at each page zombie-like. Can't silence it in Windows permanently.

Maybe to counteract the videos playing automatically, try turning off AutoPlay in your settings:

To disable Autoplay in Windows, open the Settings app, navigate to the Bluetooth & devices (or Devices on Windows 10) menu, and select AutoPlay. Toggle the "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices" option to Off and set all media dropdowns to Take no action

Linking my Flikr pics WAS working but now its not. I can paste BBCode for 1 pic, then the rest of them just show as a link.

Everything worked great PRIOR to the new forum upgrade. The pics were large and readable. I still only see very small thumbnails of my screenshots.

Can the admins look into this? Screenshots are a huge part of the fun of simming for me.

Here's an example (that will be hard to see since it's sooo small) of what I'm running into now trying to make a screenshot post.

I'm not sure if you were replying to me. Nonetheless, I went ahead and checked Devices in WIndows 10. Autoplay was already set to off.

I guess I can learn how to ignore the ads, but... but the thing is... it's really LOUD... and, it's in a spoken language and writing that I'm not familiar with. My wild guess: it's Thailand?

Since the UK cannot see imgur images, a good alternative is imgbb.

The link has to be clicked to display it?

If that is the case, then why are pictures displayed to me when I read a post without my having to click on it?
