  • You do realise this is for free right and they do this in their own time? Just chill out and opt for a different a380 provider if you don't like the free one... plenty of 380s inbound.

  • A team made this for free. There are about 380 million different ways to say what you said in a better way. As my kids would say - touch grass

  • DO you know what being grateful means? It's a free project stop complaining and if your PC cant handle it, get a new one. OR join their comms channels and provide some constructive less demanding fee

updated the dev mode one for a test flight this morning and the VRAM is sitting at 9gig. some good improvements. lets see how it flies

My last experience with this aircraft was catastrophic but with this new iteration it is good. Performance is here

Was a huge advocate for this aircraft when it was first released. There was some yearly poll (can't recall where - could have been avsim?) some time ago where the question was to name your aircraft add-on of the year, I was the only one to nominate the FBW A380. Absolutely loved it, flew it at every chance.

Then they did something to the on-ground handling, specifically taxiing. Granted I use a joystick twist axis, but I used to have no trouble keeping it on the centre line. Now I throw fishtails up and down the taxiways of wherever in the world I happen to be. Really frustrating.

Waiting on the inibuilds effort, and hoping it taxis like their A350. I can hear the purists screaming about accuracy and proper groundhandling, how it's the largest passenger aircraft and it shouldn't be easy to control, but a guy can dream.

I think I flew this in MSFS2020 before I moved to MSFS2024.

Just hand flew flew KJFK to KBOS after setting 'state' to 'ready for t/off', & also used the AP enroute, but left the FMS/MFD's alone.

In summary, very solid flight, looks good & feels good in the air, & I managed a landing at KBOS that left the undercarriage intact.

FBW can be justly proud of what they have achieved so far. I need to learn a few things about the throttles & the FMS/MFD units, but will certainly be putting more air time into this freeware gem.
