Also it seems it'll be USA only for now by the looks of it. June 30Jun 30 Looks interesting, but would want to see reviews. Any idea on release date? ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
July 2Jul 2 Baited breath on this one - Very relevant to my interests but the video reeks of using cinematics to hide the lack of gameplay. I'm always put off by trailers that dont actually show the product, just cinematic footage/scripted AI-gen audio, no menus etc. (Edit - sorry thats not entirely fair, there are some shots of the menus and EFB)Limited to only US coast guard locations as well. Mission Hub by Miltech offers the whole world to set up SAR missions, but does lack procedural generation, you have to make your own missions. July 2Jul 2 It is out now:EmergencyDispatcherPro | Aerosoft ShopAnd there's a demo:EmergencyDispatcherPro - 24h Free Trial | Aerosoft Shop Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Generally if you're confident enough to put out a demo you're confident the product is solid enough to be purchased after the trial expires so that gives me hope that theres more to do/less limitations than the trailer suggests. While I have no intentions of buying the HPG145 since its not native to 2024 but ported from 2020, I do own the MI-60 and will likely pickup the new Taog Dolphin this weekend. As long as the hoisting missions work with one of those, then this mission generator might be worthwhile. Pointless as a SAR mission generator if you can't actually do hoist rescue missions MSI Aegis R | Intel i7-14700F | NVIDIA RTX 4060 | 1TB NVMe | 32GB RAM | Windows 11
July 4Jul 4 I haven't had time to even try the demo yet, but will give it a shot. I can never get Miltech's mission hub to work for me (seems to start the mission, but never fully loads anything). This video has a good overview. Looks very interesting. It doesn't seem to need/support the actual hoist or features of the SH60. You just hit a button on the interface to lower a hoist. That's good or bad depending on how you look at it, but should support any addon that way. (I wonder if you can ues an R66 or anything that wouldn't even be realistic). One drawback is he rescues 18 people and somehow fits them all into the Seahawk. I don't think that would possibly work, so if you're looking for ultra realism, this has some issues. It still looks fun if you can look past things like that. I'm going to check out the demo when I get a chance (we're in the middle of a heatwave and I haven't had the energy to sit in front of a PC). ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
July 4Jul 4 Apparently an A340 ditched in the water just west of Tampa, and it is my job to fly a rescue. Flew out of St Pete (Verticalsim's scenery works great) and started a search. Hard to miss an A340 in good weather. I hoist up 4 injured passengers and fly them to a nearby hospital (presumably boats pick up the rest). Off in the MH60 I go. I'm still in demo mode. Not a review, but just observations:-I'm guessing much of this is AI generated. Not saying that's good or bad, just take that how you will-It doesn't use any of the actual hoist or features of the Miltech MH60, you just click a button on the interface to do things like lower the hoist. -It shows you the vital signs of the patents as you fly them back, reminding you that time is important-It gives good feedback on your flying. It seems patients that are already injured don't appreciate being bounced around the cabin more because I slipped into VRS. -The debrief is rather detailed, and gets saved as an html file you can review later. Lots of things from how efficiently did you fly, to erratic moves, etc. -Apparently I have to actually apply care to people? Didn't see how to do that, but I probably should RTFM at some point. -Interface requires you to alt-tab in and out, but the tablet shows the map for you (so if the tablet is mounted, you get an easy view)Overall - I had fun. I have no idea how realistic this is. Kind of a steep price, but I might end up buying when my trial is over. No bugs that I noticed so far, assume everything was "user error" on my part. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
July 4Jul 4 I was a member of the beta team and will say I totally enjoyed it. Like in a ‘rush home and play every night’ kind of way. It had bugs, but Matt was quick to note them and, I assume, has fixed them. I am just learning helis and bought the H145 (I need the stability system) and this product gives that flying a purpose. It’s priced about $10 more than I had hoped but when you figure cost per hour of entertainment it’s really a fair price. EddieKABQ
