After reinstalling my PMDG 738 into MS2024 now all gauges are orange colored with a message regarding the HUD file. Any ideas?

That sounds like a WASM problem. That happened to me after I installed the PMDG 737-700 package recently. However, exiting to the desktop, and then reloading MSFS 2024 resolved the problem. It has not happened again.

There is another thread here which describes the problem and recommended fix. Apparently the problem stems from save PMDG state profiles. Either rebuild them or delete them. If rebuilding don’t activate until you’ve replicated and saved once again. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. And rebuilding the profiles worked for me, but deleting them is probably easier. Blue skies,
