Each new update attracts less and less interest. They got what they deserved.

What exactly can we look forward to in Sim Update 6? Will any of us actually notice anything different?

Probably more stability and even better overall performance.

I'm not 100% sure but since I now use only default ATC and AI Traffic I believe I find it better, more consistent that I used to when I tried it the last time along SU4, but that's a long time ago....

MSFS 2024 SU6 beta runs smooth & stable, and before whenever I activated the sim AI traffic and ATC I used to get stutters, and it was the only situation I used to get it, but now it runs OK!

Learning to fly gliders since 1980

Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.

(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)

Yes, my performance is better than ever. I really never had many stability issues. I glad they fixed the camera views on this latest beta release. Landing and taxing around the new Ini KORD in the PMDG 737 is so smooth with AIG traffic. Last beta build is running great for me.

Apart from no landing gear visibility with AI aircraft, and having to use Rex Atmos and a bit of minor sharpening on Reshade, the sim is looking and performing astonishingly well. 9/10

I suspect they're making changes on the backend with ATC processing... I'm not in the beta, but I'm noticing ATC has been better lately with descents in career missions. Sometimes ATC will ask me to descend twice, a bug that I never noticed in the past. There seems to be tweaking going on with both career missions and ATC that never makes it to the change logs.
