737 max 'convertible'

Featured Replies

cHello everyone,
sorry for english, i am french,

I’ve just bought the iFly 737 MAX 8 MSFS SP1 version; I’m playing on MSFS 2020 (W11);

everything works but the fuselage appears partially open in external view ;

convertible 737 max

I thought it might be my graphics card (GTX 1060 6 Gb) that wasn’t powerful enough, but I’ve set the graphics settings to ‘minimum’ and it’s still the same;
even when zooming in or rotating the view around aircraft, nothing changes.
The same view appears briefly when I click on the MSFS Shop
Are you aware of this issue? Is there a fix?

Thank's a lot for your replies

Can't see the image but if it's what I think it is. Did you try different liveries

Ron

MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

Completely uninstall the iFly 737.
Delete all the liveries.
Delete the ifly 737 folder in the WASM folder (C:\Users\<insertyourusername>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2020).

Restart the computer.
Install IFly 737 for MSFS 2024. Update to the latest version.
Launch Flight Simulator 2024, select the Ifly. It will rebuild the WASM folder so it takes a while to load.
It should be good. If not, close the sim, restart the computer and load the sim again.

Completely overkill.

Just go into the Ifly Manager.

Click Manage Product on the top left.

Click "Rebuild Layout" on the next to bottom right.

Done.

I had similar display issues to OP a few weeks back and the rebuild layout didn't fix it. Hence why I put the thorough option that did end up fixing it for me. OP can try both options and see what works.

Then you have to to what FrankSalo suggested and do a complete re-install.

I just reinstalled (with download a new zip) and it is exactly the same (texture and rebuild layout grayed) ang the plugin is not launch by the exe.xml

Did you delete the folder I suggested and restart the computer?

"Delete the ifly 737 folder in the WASM folder (C:\Users\<insertyourusername>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2020)."
-this path does not exist ; as i said, i play on msfs 2020 , i dont have msfs 2024; i searched with 'everithing'; i have no WASM folder except in sdk (D:\MSFS SDK)
-rebuild layoud : it's only for msfs 2024 , this is specified in the ifly manager > manage product so it's normal that i cant select it.

what version steam or store , simple solution is to google it will tell you where it is for steam and store versions

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it twice now without success; I’ve never installed the older version and I’ve just bought the last SP1 version
i put i fly manager in admin, exclude from defender community folder , etc...,
I know that some people have experienced the same issue with the older version of this 737

iFly 737 Max is out now (Pre release only) - Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024) - The AVSIM Community
(page 33 )

==> Ron says : anyone else having trouble with the fuselage disappearing. all I see is the seats.
it was a conflict with GSX but i have not GSX

==> 'jure' says : 'There's a problem with seated pax. Solution has been posted on Discord in the official support channel/aircraft-systems/Max8 invisible thread. Donwload the .xml file and it solves the problem. Detailed instructions in the thread '
i don't find this modification even with the help of IA.
I hope I’m not the only one in the world to have this issue !
