Monday at 08:49 PM4 days Kind of hard to describe this in the title but what I'm after is to see if there is a way to my mouse cursor (or whatever else it's controlling) smoother. Because I'm dragging the optic mouse it kind of catches and releases as it's sliding across the desktop which here is just formica/laminate. This is very noticeable when doing a walk around during pre-flight, but it's also true for panning with the mouse in the virtual cockpit in MSFS 2024. Just wondering what might reduce or eliminate this tendency for it to stick and release as it's being slid across the desktop.Cheers NoelSystem: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync.Aircraft used in MSFS 2024: Fenix A320, Aerosoft CRJs, I-Fly 737 MAX 8, PMDG 777-200LR, Citation Longitude.

Hardware and Advanced TweaksChange USB Port: Plug your mouse receiver or wired USB cable directly into a dedicated USB 3.0 or 2.0 port on the back of your computer (motherboard) rather than a loose desktop hub. Adjust Polling Rate: If your cursor feels jittery or laggy, use your mouse's proprietary software (like Logitech G Hub, Razer Synapse, etc.) to lower the polling rate from 1000Hz to 500Hz or 250Hz to test if system stutter disappears. Update Drivers: Check device manager or your manufacturer's website for clean driver updates. Tuesday at 05:09 PM3 days Author Thanks you guys I just realized it's been so long since I used a mouse pad...about 6 years since I moved out here and forgot the old pad! Duh! Yes, the issue is purely mechanical which a good pad would help alot with I'm sure. This laminate desk seems smooth and it is but friction exists and a pad should improve on that.Cheers NoelSystem: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync.Aircraft used in MSFS 2024: Fenix A320, Aerosoft CRJs, I-Fly 737 MAX 8, PMDG 777-200LR, Citation Longitude.
Yesterday at 12:25 AM1 day The best mouse I ever owned is this one. It costs $126 for thirty of them. Or one for $8. The pads are only on the top 2 corners, that's the best arrangement. The cord is tiny gauge and therefore will not drag. The scroll wheel is the smoothest and easiest I have ever experienced.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005EJH6RW 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
