Oh? Too early for France, not yet available (from nvidia App) ;) And the nvidia web site is not awake yet, no big deal, I can wait ;)

I just got mine from NVidia direct as it wasn't showing up on the app (which was also updated)

However, the reason I upgraded was to fix the flashing I got with the previous driver and it seems that hasn't been fixed yet 🙄

If you are upgrading to or currently using version 616.64, keep the following in mind:

• Flicker Unresolved: NVIDIA representatives confirmed that the code for version 616.64 was finalized before a permanent fix for the intermitted desktop/browser flickering could be integrated. [1]

• Upcoming Hotfix: A dedicated hotfix driver explicitly targeting the gamma/flickering bug and virtual display creation failures is expected to follow shortly. [1]

• Power Management Bug: Version 616.64 also carries an open issue where the "Prefer Maximum Performance" toggle in the NVIDIA Control Panel may fail to apply correctly. [1]

Just made a circuit at KSEE with MSFS2024, nvidia driver 616.56 and DLSS 310.9 (preset M) and didn't notice anything wrong, nor better ;)
PS: updated driver 616.64 shows up now in nvidia app.

I see there is a DLSS5 swapper available now! Haven't tried it yet but i believe its made by the same folks who made the DLSS Swapper... times are a changin' for sure!

Am I right in thinking that DLSS 5 is only for the 50 series of cards?

More or less. nvidia has changed the official position few hours ago (9/3). It's 100% communication and nothing is yet available, so you may believe or not. It's a nvidia statement full of "once this" "we plan". And it's has zero connection with MSFS.

DLSS 5 is our most computationally demanding model to date. Since we initially announced it in March, we’ve achieved a 5X performance gain and there’s more to come. Our current focus is on optimizing performance for the GeForce RTX 50 Series with model updates expected later this fall. Once RTX 50 Series performance is more fully tuned, we plan to work on expanding official support to the GeForce RTX 40 Series.

For now, we have DLSS 4.5 and this 310.9 DLL. Let's enjoy what we - really - have now and use MSFS! For DLSS5, I suggest someone creates a DLSS 5 focused discussion (if not existing yet) as this not ready-yet-for-MSFS version of DLSS has nothing to do with DLSS 310.9 DLL.
