March 6, 200719 yr I've just uploaded to the libray a simple application to convert infix (conventional) notation to reverse polish notation (RPN). The file rpn1.zip is in the FS2004 Utilities section. As always, this software is provided 'as-is', without any express or implied warranty. In no event will I be liable for any damages arising from the use of it. Gerry Howard

March 6, 200719 yr Commercial Member 1) RPN is not the 'norm', is hasn't been utilized in decades.2) RPN is not how we are taught math.3) The ability to take an RPN formula and translate it to what we DO understand increases our ability to grasp RPN.After all, if you want to translate between two languages, there's always translators that go both directions. Not just one. ;) Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69

March 6, 200719 yr Hi,Downloaded the dll, --> lot of problems and CTD's, finally started your program, inserted some code, but no RPN.I think it can be a very handy tool! (when it works)Jan"Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..." Jan "Beatus ille qui procul negotiis..."
March 6, 200719 yr I've uploaded a revised version with the file name RPN2.zip which should work. I had forgotten to uncheck a box in Linker Options when I was building the .exe file :(Jan:Make sure that you use ESC as the separator between tokens and note that if{ and els{ are tokens. It works OK for me.Sorry for any inconvenience. Gerry Howard
