I'm in Georgia just a couple of hours from the distribution point. Looks like the disc was mailed yesterday. I got it at noon today. The registration key came back in 20 minutes (thanks Rick - great work) and now I just need to find a little quite time to get things going.Doug

Hi Al and John,Dumfries is the oldest town in Virginia. It was named after the Dumfries in Scotland and most of us pronounce the name the same as in Scotland. However I sometimes pronounce it Dumb - Fries but some people get upset when I do. The town sits next to Quantico MCB and the FBI Academy. Back in the 1600's/1700's it was known as the Port of Dumfries and was one of the major ports in the United States as it sits on the Potomac. Silt(sp) has destroyed the Potomac so nothing of the Port remains. Hope your RC4 has arrived by now. Ciao,Jim

I live in Tennesse got it today 12/10/05 two days thats not bad for the mad Christmas rush with the mail. Now waiting for the registration number to get that puppy going. I have been faithfully using Radar Contact two versions back and have always enjoyed product and customer service. Anyone second guessing why not to get this product should note, the team has always been here for me over the years with quick response time and no hassles. To me, worth the investment that is why I have moved on to RCV4.Thanks team,David HawleyTennessee

OK, all the way to Texas! OK, there seems to be some kind of embargo against us RC users in South Carolina who ordered on the 1st of December. I have nothing better to do now than read this thread (and drink a few beers, LOL). I especially liked the "Original" dum-freece remark about the Scottland version since I'm scottish by descent(sp), it suites me fine, LOL. I thorougly enjoyed learning about the history of the Virgina version as well. I'll always remember your history lesson while I'm stuck in 0-mph traffic on I-95 and I see the "Dumfries" exit when driving through the Washington-mess once or twice a year. Now I have to wait until Monday. Darn! (stronger curse-words considered), who's bright idea was it that the US post-office shouldn't work on Sunday anyway?BTW, I've seen a lot of preview threads bashing the sounds (voices). I was fine with the prvious versions of RC. Based on your previous experience with RC, does it sound the same, better, or worse in your personal opinion.
