Hi Al,Sorry your RC4 didn't arrive today. I have only flown 2 flights with RC4 and the first one resulted in a crash in the SanFran Bay (arriving from LAX) and the 2nd attempt was a "perfect" flight (in my eyes). The critique at the end wasn't so nice to me though and I got some guy from the FAA telling me I violated altitude restrictions or something like that. He wants to talk to me ASAP. I flew my PMDG 747 AirForce One and I had problems hearing the controller because the sound in the cockpit is so loud. Couple that with FS default ATC talking at the same time (only occasionally) and you can see why I missed some changes in altitude! I'm lucky I heard the changes in headings. Next time I'm going to let the co-pilot take over until the landing phase. I've had the previous versions so sort of familiar with the procedures. This version appears smoother to me. FYI, Dumfries use to be spelled Dumphries in the old, old days. I think the one in Scotland was spelled that way too. Hope you enjoy your weekend w/o RC4.Jim

Jim,<>You can overcome that problem by lowering the engines sound setting in Options / Sounds.Cheers,

Portland Oregon checking in, I got it Saturday. That is service.I am still waiting for my key. Might mention that you have to state which version you are using in the email, othewise it slows things down.

if you follow the steps, and let the rc interface generate the email, it speeds things up.individual emails are handled individuallyjd

Jim:I thought that Jamestown, founded in 1607, was the oldest town in Virginia (the whole country, actually). No?By the way, 12/12 and still no sign of my copy. Wish they would at least install a 1200 baud modem somewhere. I could have downloaded it by now. ;-)Wilson

"I thought that Jamestown, founded in 1607, was the oldest town in Virginia (the whole country, actually). No?"Wilson,I couldn't let this one go unanswered. Jamestown was an "English settlement" and not a chartered town (in fact Virginia wasn't even a State then - est. 1788). Dumfries is the oldest chartered town in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
