The other main problem I probably have is the possibly limited airline call signs, but we already know a LOT of new ones are being added in RC5, so that's clearly in hand.Even if taxi instructions are available for most - or even some - airports, then that is good news indeed! And even if that means the release of RC5 goes back possibly a few more months. It may be a year or more off, as mentioned before RC4 is still an excellent product, and I would rather wait until all improvements are complete, tested etc - rather than rushing out RC5 with bugs, or without a lot of new features that you would like to introduce. RegardsMark

Cheers, Christian

I'm excited to hear about the taxing options. I'm not sure throwing more money will help a project move along faster. I'm a developer (not for this fine product) but often times the limitations are how fast the developer(s) can code and test...more money doesn't always mean the process moves along faster unless the money is considerable enough to add additional staff.I've been very happy with 4.3...I've been waiting over a year for the latest FSX Passengers. Good programs take time to develop...so I'll patiently await the release of v5!

Must be getting pretty close now guys? ;)Jon.

I'd even pay extra right now for taxi control as an add-on module to RC4 if it's 'done'. ;)

I read somewhere to do the following, AND IT WORKS!!.Don't start RC4 at the usual time. Get clearance in the usual manner with the FS ATC. After you get the clearance, get the assigned rwy and turn on the progressive taxi (arrows). Now start RC4. When you get to the point where RC4 gives you a RWY, one option will be to change the runway. Change RC4 to the rwy FS ATC gave you. Follow the arrows to the runway in the usual manner and fly with RC4. You can do the same thing at the destination airport after pulling off the active. Note, when you start RC4 you will have to change the squawk number. You can also use the program called airport chart guage. I hope this helps a little. I think using the progressive taxi options is easier.Dick from Sunny Florida USA
