  1. Hi, instantly after I bought the 1900D directly from the Carenado website I received another email (that was blocked because of the attachment...) saying: "Dear customer, we have noted that the “RXP530.exe” file included in your recently purchased Carenado B1900D HD Series FSX/P3D is not working properly impeding to use the Reality XP GNS530. Attached is a patch which correct that issue. Unzip it and double click in the installer which will correct that file." The file attached is called "1900D_SPRXP.exe". Is this a trustworthy Carenado mail or just a bad joke? I won't execute the patch until I officially hear from Carenado that my computer won't get infected with malware or something worse... Did anybody else receive that patch? And why isn't it simply downloadable from their website? Thanks for all responses Christian
  2. Same here. I'd love to have a PDF manual to be laid out before me when flying. Switching back and forth between FSX and the Online Manual is a nuisance...Apart from that: great product and thanks for all the enthusiastic work put into!CheersChristian
  3. You mean you didn't have it before the hotfix? Wow, that's weird...
  4. Did you all install the hotfix from PMDG to cure the "freezes"? I did and since then all my crashes on exit are gone. It's just that simple. I did nothing more. Just the hotfix...So far it works for me.
  5. You're not the only one: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/341694-fsx-crashes-when-exit/
  6. Count me in. I'm another one who always crashes on exit every time I chose the NGX to fly.It doesn't matter if I fly anyway. Simply positioning the NGX at any airport (addon or standard FSX) and exiting FSX afterwards leads to a crash.I think I had this as well with the J4100 but I'm don't remember what was the culprit. It went away with the J4100 so I hope there'll be a solution to the NGX as well. No other plane is affectet - and I have different aircrafts in use.My machine is a i920@4G, 1TB HDD, FSX on drive D, 6GB RAM, Nividia GTX275 Lightning; I don't use anti virus software on my FSX rig; and yes, I use the ENB modCheersChristian
  7. Now it seems to work perfectly. I can access forums and library and was even able to download a file. Great help and thank you for your extraordinary quick responses! WOW.Perfect service. Great job. Thanks so much, Christian
  8. Brian, thank you for coming back to me so quickly, great service!Unfortunately I already tried to reset my password. The effect was, that I was temporarily able to login to the library. My account data were correct there. But when I tried to download a file an error occurs: "530 Login authentication failed"I'm not sure what happens there.Christian
  9. Thanks for directing me there but I've already gone through that process. This is what happens:1. I click on "I currently have an AVSIM forum account".2. I enter my email address I'm registered with and continue.3. My account has been found successfully. I click on "click here" to login to the library.4. I enter my email address and my password that grant me access to the forums.5. The next page says: login unsuccessful. What do I do wrong? Once again: email and password are exactly the ones that give me successful entry to the forums.Further help is appreciated. Thanks, Christian
  10. Hi there, perhaps I haven't got it right yet but I cannot login to the library anymore. As you see I am registered and use the forums. But accessing the new library presents me with an error ("Login Unsuccessful"). When I try to retrieve my password or try to register again, the system does not want to help me because my email address is already in use...How can I access the new library and the forums with a single user name, PW and email address again? Thanks for help.Christian
  11. Just for PMDG records to put me on the list: I encounter the exit crashes of FSX as well. It's just as described above. Luckyly it's no showstopper because the a/c runs like a charm and I have no CTDs during flight. It's only the fatal error occuring when I shut down FSX.Unfortunately I currently have no time to test anything but I follow this thread very thoroughly. I'm very glad the issue is being worked on.Keep up your great work! Thanks and cheersChristian
  12. Yeah, load a flight with the Cessna and then change aircraft does the job. No showstopper. If FS2Crew isn't irritated by that I'll leave it with that.Another workaround is:1. Load a free flight situation with ATR with it's original panel.cfg's2. Shut down the flight (not "change aircraft") and switch to another plane in the aircraft selection window.3. Enable the FS2Crew panel.cfg's for the ATR via Start Center4. Switch bach to the ATR in the aircraft selection window.5. Re-start the flight situation created in #16. And there you go: runs OKAs this workaround needs far more time than simply change the Cessna into ATR via FSX in-flight menu it is definitively only second best...CheersChristian
  13. Hello Bryan, thanks for your fantastic quick response.Loading the Cessna first does indeed make no problems. Is that a way all should work with FS2Crew? In your manual it is strongly advised NOT to load standard Cessna before running the ATR with FS2Crew. :( I'm confused. Loading the standard Cessna first is no big deal so if FS2Crew can handle that it might be a good option to bypass the ATR loading error.I clicked the installation option to trust all of your gauges. So no single "no" click was possible.. :( I run different FSX.cfg's for situations like VFR, IFR, PhotoScenery etc. None of them works so I don't think it a FSX.cfg issue... But I have a separate Windows 7 beta partition with FSX "pure" on it (without any addons). Perhaps I give ATR / FS2Crew a try there. Does FS2Crew have any issues with Windows7?I do thoroughly update drivers and DirectX - latest installation is only two weeks old.Didn't try the event viewer yet...CheersChristian
  14. Hi,I'm new to this forum as I just recently bought some of your fantastic FS2Crew products. They all work like a charm, only FS2Crew for the ATR72-500 (FSX) causes problems. They are of that kind as described above.I run Vista 64bit / FSX with AccPack / ATR72-500 with SP1 but FSX continues to crash when accessing the ATR72-500 aircraft in the aircraft screen. No error is shown - FSX just shuts down with a severe problem and starts again.Several fresh re-installations of FS2Crew and/or ATR72-500 didn't solve the problem. UAC is disabled, full admin rights are granted, 2D cockpit is startup standard. FSX works ok with the ATR if I restore the original flight 1 ATR panel config files from the start center (February 2009 edition) but crashes when I select the FS2Crew panel config files.I don't know how other users suffering from that problem (like RichardA in the threads above) finally managed it but perhaps you have any advice for me to be able to use my FS2Crew with the ATR at all. Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany.Christian
  15. What about a mission statement concerning SP1? :(CheersChristian

    >>Even if taxi instructions are available for most - or even>>some - airports, then that is good news indeed!>>This is my main beef with RC4x. So I eagerly await this>feature. Is it possible to integrate this feature into RC4x via update or patch? Or is it exclusively planned for RC5?Christian

Too bad it's not coming this year but all I hear about v4.3 is indeed only good news. I put hopes in v5 to include ATC for taxiing but I think I'll be quite good with 4.3Take your time for development and count me in as a 4.3 customer.CheersChristian

Hi,as I am new to Radar Contact and still collecting informations yet - may I ask for a mission statement concerning version 5?The last updates given are months ago. So when are you planning to release RC5 (in terms of years, months, weeks, days...).Thank you for your answer(s).Christian
  19. Ryan, thank you for your clear statement. Seems I have to wait for the boxed version from Aerosoft. But one additional question: you say you "have absolutely no way of tracking customers from it". Why was Flight1 able to handle boxed products from Aerosoft to grant a reduced FSX version? I own both LevelD 767 and ATR72 boxed from Aerosoft and updated both via coupon from Flight1 by entering the serial. It worked flawlessly. Why isn't that an option for PMDG?Kind regards.Christian
  20. >Dear George->>the discount applies only to those customers who have>purchased the FS9 747-400 Passenger version from our web>site.>>Best regards,Could you please be so kind and explain this kind of policy as I don't understand it. I also bought the boxed passenger version and after release of the freighter version I ordered that online from PMDG. So I contributed to your FS9 work as a "full" customer. Why is a "boxed" customer not eligible for a discount? Flight1 shows that it works pretty good (I got massive discounts on my boxed LVD767 e.g.).I think I'm not the only one with a combination of PMDG 747 passenger boxed and freighter downloaded. So why don't you extend customer service and loyalty to those? Thanks for an answer.Christian
  21. Hi Carl, thanks for your answer. I think I fulfill all of your prerequisites: full network access to all mentioned folders for ASX and XG and full administrator rights under Vista without UAC on either PC. I already did several uninstalls and re-installs.But nevertheless I try to clean everything again and make a fresh install as you supposed in the next days. I will report to you as soon as I'm done with it.Thanks again.Christian
  22. Hi Carl and others,do you have any comments on my error descriptions? Any answers to my questions?Thank you so much.Christian
  23. Hi Carl, thank you for getting on this topic. Unfortunately I just read your message after coming back from the weekend... As I am working right now I cannot provide you with the log files from my home computer. But let me tell you about the problem.Like described above ASX didn't find the wxstationlist.bin file in my AppDataFSX folder. After searching for that file the only one that exists was in my FSX root folder (H:FSX). I copied it into my AppDataFSX folder and the errors were gone. Was that OK?When trying to create a wx-influenced texture set from within ASX it says that "object reference not set to an instance of an object" and "could not find file C:ProgramFilesHiFiXGraphicsDataAirportsairport_clutter136b2su1.bmp" although this file does exist in the specified folder. XG is not started and no texture copying process commends...When trying to create a wx-influenced texture set from within XGraphics the buttons are greyed out...When I try to create a wx-influenced texture set from within ASX with XG running in the background no errors appear but XG doesn't start either.I'm running ASX/XG in a network with all Simconnect related files up to date and working. ASX and XG are both updated with SP1 and each program runs OK with FSX seperately. Only the wx-influenced texture generating and reading seems to be the culprit.I should mention that I installed ASX/XG on my FSX computer yesterday and everything runs fine in not-network mode. Wx-influence is great. But I cannot get it to work in networked mode. Would be great if you could provide me with some help.If you still need my log files I have to look for them in the next days. Is it possible to attach them all here or should I email it to you? What address? Thanks for your help.Christian
  24. Please don't let the subject down. Is there any comment you can give me?Thank you.Christian
  25. Hi Carl and Gary,I just came across your discussions as I installed ASX yesterday on a network system and encountered exactly the same errors and problems as Gary did... I just logged in as a new forum member to tell you this.So unfortunately the problem doesn't seem to be "unique" as you both suppose.Could you please be so kind and tell me how you got that matter solved? Reading the last post I assume the problems are solved now, aren't they?As I am from Germany I'm not that good in describing all the details of my problem in English. So I'm glad Gary did a good job in describing the errors and posting all the logs and I can say that my errors seem to be exactly the same. So please let me know how you get it fixed. And BTW: thank you for that great product! Im a customer with ActiveSky since version 5 and it's always been a pleasure to fly in AS's weather. I never encountered any problems until now - perhaps ASX is my first network installation...Thank you very much.Kind regardsChristian
