  2. The best of two (freeware!) worlds.....The beautiful SGA DC9 with the outstanding Stellan Hilmerby DC9 panel. A perfect combination!Edmundohttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/102297.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/102298.jpg
  3. Just a thought. I think with the FS9 format this problem no longer exists. With Fs9 we can have all the gauges that a panel uses inside the panel folder (instead of the gauges folder). Therefore, when a panel is no longer needed, just delete it with all the gauges! Does this solves the question you raised?BestEdmundo
  4. Bruce,I do also have a GeForce 4600, 128 MB (in a 3.2 GHz CPU and WinXP, 1 GB RAM).Yet I get terribe fps when flying in clouds (2-8 fps are typical numbers!) - and 3-5 second stutters. I am currently using the latest Nvidia drivers (61.77) and I use AA 4x and AS 2x, I am considering to get a ATI 9800Pro (the X800
  5. Well.. just my guess...considering what is (not) said above...the next project will be the BAe 146-200 panel!BestEdmundo

  7. Hi,There is an excellent option: the scenery of Madeira and the nearby island of Porto Santo. Check here:http://www.ptsim.com/It is payware but worth every cent!RegardsEdmundo
  8. Hi,I need advice! A week ago I had a strange crash in my PC while flying in FS9. A message poped out saying that "Windows has recovered from a serious error", shown in a screen in very low resolution. After that my PC isn
  9. Hi,Many thanks for this guide. I really need it!Just a (basic) question: I want to use only a few selected aircraft and not all that are in my Fs9 aircraft folder. How can I instruct the GA-Traffic program to use only those traffic-specific airplanes? I am sure there is an option to do this but couldn
  10. Hi,First of all THANKS to Milton and all the group for this extraordinary airplane!I have a reasonable powerful system and yesterday I got a similar crash on my computer. I got the same message - "Windows XP came up I got a message that the system had 'Just recovered from a serious error'"! Never had it before and it happened on the Howard test flight. It can be a coincidence of course but it crossed my mind that could be something related to the Howard. Of course it may have other causes - for example, overheating of the CPU and I am checking this possibility.ThksEdmundoPIV 3.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, GeForce4 Ti4600

Hi,Does any (extremely) kind german-speaking fellow care to translate from German to English the 13 pdf files that are inside the zip "Manual L1011-200.zip" that comes with this panel??I am sure many simmers would be very, very grateful!!Thanks (in advance!) Edmundo
  12. I apologize but I forgot to add my name at the above message that starts with "Instructions to add the RealityXP Wx500 weather radar on the PMDG B737NG"!Edmundo
  13. Instructions to add the RealityXP Wx500 weather radar on the PMDG B737NG.Following these instructions you will be able to open the Wx500 using the weather icon in the main 737NG panel (look for the tooltip "Weather Radar") and close it by mouse clicking at the radar centre.I used this modification in FS2004 only but see no reason for not working in FS2002.1) Make a backup copy of your PMDGB737-700 panel.cfg located in directory "panel". You may repeat step 5 for the panel.cfg located in directory panel.vc.2) Open the attached zip file and extract file "cpt.icons.cab" (as it is, don
  14. Jeff,I will post here tonight how to have the Wx500 in the main panel opened with the 737 weather icon. It is very simple!RegardsEdmundo
  15. Hi!Following Janosch suggestion (many thanks!!) I have also changed the panel.cfg for the PMDG 737 to show the Wx500 weather radar. But contrarily to Janosch
  16. To those who are using this DR400 panel, were you able to open the subpanels using the clickspots available at the main panel? I can "feel" them (mouse cursor changes to a hand) but they seem not to be working. Can someone pease confirm?ThanksEdmundo
  17. Ray,Is there a tutorial available for the B1900? If so, where?ThanksEdmundo
  18. Wang,I had no problems with the installation of this package. Of course, I installed first everything into a dummy folder to check what it is in it .. in this case it installs even an outdated version of FSIUPC. This panel is better (IMHO) than that included in Tibor
  19. Hi Mike,It looks we are the only ones enjoying this jewel!! Wake up guys! Give this package a try because it is really astonishing! Mike, if you have some information on how to fly the aircraft please let me know (ega@netcabo.pt). I might have the procedure to start engines but I have to test it further. Did you find out how to open/close teh subpanels? Only a few ghave dedicated icons. I had to add some toggles into the main panel to do this job.RegardsEdmundo
  20. Hi Mike,I had a look on this new Tu154 package. Superb!! No virtual cockpit though. I enjoy flying russian aircraft. Unfortunately the manuals are badly needed! It is nearly impossible to fly these Tu154 without spending hours reading the manuals. They are DIFFERENT from what we are used to!.Let us hope that some nice fellow can give us a translation of the manuals. I started translating them (using an on-line translation service) but I gave up - the text comes out very difficult to understand. RegardsEdmundo
  21. Hi,I am much enjoying SU2! It took me almost 3 days to get it but I finally hace succeded! Thanks PMDG!A question: I have printed the manuals for the previous version. 22. Steve and W., Many thanks for your clarification!RegardsEdmundo
